List Official Featured Ghosts

UPDATE PART 3:

So the day has finally come, haha. We finally finished those reviews from October and some new ones, so we are finally (almost) up to date with the suggestions. There's a few new ones missing, but we covered most of it and will do those soon. After the UPDATE PART 1 and UPDATE PART 2, it's time to finish the old suggestions and just focus on new ones.

So without further ado, here's the review for 69 ghosts.

NOT FEATURED:

Arroww:
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/743839-quick-tube/r/arroww - Tube part was legendary, but other than that it's not a very solid ghost. I beat you in the rest almost every single time by far, but I failed to do the ending properly and gave up. Yeah, the last part and the tube are very hard to do, but I don't think it's worthy due to the start. Deserves a shoutout, though.

BoostButt:
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/556456-random/r/boostbutt - His control on this is good. He has some potential, but I don't think this is there yet. It lacks some flow, major risks and it needed some other tricks.

https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/556090-training-off-road/r/boostbutt - For some reason your reverse wheelies and endos are way cleaner than your normal wheelies and endos. I think you are nailing it whenever you have to just control the wheelies, like your balance is good. But when you have to accelerate or brake, you aren't getting it right 100% of the time. I think there's many missed opportunities on this one, so I'll say no for this one. But as I said before, you have a lot of potential on trickghosting.

Sadly, you are keeping a pace that is too fast for trickghosting in my opinion, you are often rushing to get to the star and then you lose many opportunities to do more tricks, better wheelies and stuff. There's some good moments here for sure, and I think you'll get a featured trickghost eventually, but you stayed on 2 wheels for too long on this one. Not a feature, but dope stuff that deserves a shoutout.
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/388398-skatepark-iii/r/boostbutt - Beginning almost sold it for me. Really crazy pace and flow, but after like 10 seconds it lacked some tricks. It's for sure an impressive ghost, that could have been featured as a fast ghost with tricks back in the day. I don't think it's good enough following today's criteria, though. But deserves another shoutout. Good stuff.

Not a feature for sure, but it shows that you are really improving at ghosting. This track is a bit hard and you started doing tricks and showing some great controls in some parts. Also, beating tetrationiscool in one of his own challenges is usually an insane task, so props to you for that. RedOrBlue and I were also in the leaderboard, so this one is interesting, but definitely not a feature. Not bad, though.

https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/689624-marble/r/boostbutt - Another close call from you. Your ghost is sick but if you just race it against tetrationiscool, TIC's ghost leads the whole track and he only loses due to a quick death in the end, so your ghost is obviously improvable. Good job, though.

But in the 2 ghosts I made in the track, I lead almost all the time over you and lost in the end with a few deaths. It's totally improvable. Not a bad suggestion, though.

Calculus:

Spruce gets ahead of you for a little bit and Noob's ending was better than both yours and spruce's, so I guess you could get that cut in ending right and make some other small improvements. Almost there, though. Your start was crazy, then you lost a little bit of time, then improved again, then missed an opportunity to made a cut in the end. So, no feature for now.

Despite the fact that this is a rare long trial ghost with multiple deaths that doesn't break, it still, as I said before, has multiple deaths in it, so it's not a feature. Deserves a shoutout, though.

https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/284191-la-bamba/r/unknown-rider - Impressive ghost, but it has like a bit more than 15 deaths, so I guess it's a no. Track is crazy hard and the competition is dope, though.
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/472931-200-subs/r/unknown-rider - Time is amazing due to the difficulty of the track, but it has 20 deaths. No. Also, mudkip was leading for a while. PS: last tube was great, though.

CLOSE CALLS:

Anonyymi:
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/367215/r/anonyymi - Legendary ghost, suggested by RedOrBlue. The ghost by itself is 100% feature worthy, but it's a bit short, so it was borderline for an exception and we ended up not featuring it. Epic job, though!

BoostButt:
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/330575-diaspora/r/boostbutt - Really dope ghost, but I'm not quite there. Small mistakes around the 9 seconds and 13 seconds marks, but it's overall really good. Competition is good, but it might be old. I believe the ghost could be optimized.

Chaos-Fallen:
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/435363-im-leaving/r/chaos-fallen - I made a quick research, and this one is at least the 12th suggested trickghost on this track. I mean, it's pretty good, but we did not feature some ghosts as good as this one (or almost) on this track. Borderline for us, but we ended up not featuring it.
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/1086-taiga/r/chaos-fallen - This is a great ghost. Clearly not perfect, there's some mistakes in it. If you race against others like Vaepor, Sidewalk and even Krypton, it's clear that there's so many parts that you could have done sligthly better, especially the beginning. The competition is absurd, though. A track with almost half a million plays, almost every good ghoster played this track once, so getting first here is no small task. Still, the few possible improvements made us say no to this. But it was a really close call.
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/673936-ghosting-wars/r/chaos-fallen - Suggestion from BoostButt, but beaten by Chaos-Fallen. I would say no, but it's actually kinda consistent, so I'll put as a maybe. Not a relevant mistake, but maybe it has a few slow spots. But it's kinda long, though. So, I'm not sure. Could be either way for me.

CHARREDLIZARD21:
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/598879-blob-challenge-3/r/charredlizard21 - Suggested by you, beaten by Pie42 and later taken back from you. Great ghost and competition. I don't think it can be much faster. Still, we think it's kinda short, so it was a o for us.
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/731783-the-tunnels-2/r/charredlizard21 - A shorter version of The Tunnels 3. We said no to the other one, but this one is cleaner. In The Tunnels 3, you do the part that corresponds to The Tunnels 2 in around 20-21 seconds. Here, you do it on 17.53. The only thing close to a mistake is around 13.10, but it's a small one. Also, you got an epic glitch at the last teleport which made your ghost even faster. Sadly, it's a bit short, so it was a borderline case that we ended up not featuring. It's very close, though.
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/720880-preview/r/charredlizard21 - Really dope ghost. A different suggestion, an antigravity based blob ghost, really nice. The ghost is really solid and clean, I don't think there are any mistakes, so it's interesting. But since it's kinda hard to know if you are going the fastest possible with antigravity and since it's below 15 seconds and we thought it's not good enough for an exception. But it's a great ghost.

Eryp:
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/9316-blibberd/r/eryp - Insane ghost. Only one to complete the track without deaths, but , as you guys can check racing it with my ghost, it's improvable, so it was a close call. Kinda is a challenge as well.

Unknown-Rider:
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/10344-shapes/r/unknown-rider - First 7 seconds could be better, as seen in Resurrect's ghost, but other than that it was pretty fast. Really insane speed and a cool competition, but it could be improved.

Mistake at the 9.5 seconds mark and the helicopter part could be better so I think it's a no for me. It's not that far from a feature but I really would like to see the blob part without mistakes and a better ending with the helicopter. No feature for now but it's worth a challenge.

Might have lost a bit of time in some of the brakes, but this is good. Will put as a maybe. 5th feature for CHARREDLIZARD21, that will now get his Recognized Ghost medal. Congrats, man! It feels like the Blob King is rising, haha.

Fast Ghosts:

Arroww:
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/750874-secret-tunnels-track-1/r/Arroww - This ghost is really good. Nice speed and flow and theoretically has nice competition. But, as weird as it sounds, I don't think the competition is that good. Yeah, I'm on the leaderboard twice, RedOrBlue is there, Chaos-Fallen as well and some other cool ghosters. But, RedOrBlue pretty much did a fast ghost with tricks (he could have gone so much faster) and so did I on my main account, but it broke. Also, I didn't go 100% serious on my ghost as Alzakhion as well (those flips on the wall were unnecessary and that wasn't even close to my best attempt in terms of speed) and Chaos-Fallen also made a ghost with many tricks, so I don't think many ghosters took the track that seriously. However, the ghost is crazy good and solid, so it's a feature. Would love to see more people trying the track, though, to see if this ghost will hold the top spot on the leaderboard. 2nd feature for Arroww. Congrats!

Eryp:

Our beloved Forum and Ghosted Moderator finally reached the 5 features mark, which make him worthy or getting the Recognized Ghoster medal. Congrats Eryp, that is now with 5 features.

Skatitall:

Cerulean's ghost was almost there, but I feel like the sub-15 mark makes this ghost really stand out. 1st feature (again) for Skatitall! Congrats on getting back on the list.

Stevie.T
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/345240-pros-climb/r/stevie.t - Insane ghost. With only the 4 small mistakes in the first 2 minutes, it was a 100% feature for me. He climbed the whole thing really fast. With the 5 mistakes in the last obstacle, we were on the fence about it. Still, it's insanely better than my ghost or Sidewalk's. It's not that easy to make that climb, so the ghost is still very impressive overall. Featured! 5th feature for Stevie.T.

Unknown-Rider:
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/352687-upland/r/unknown-rider - Sick ghost. Really nice speed and flow with even better competition. Seems like a good track to have some competition. Since the offroad standards are crazy, I'm pretty sure there's some possible improvements, but we think this is a good enough ghost. 11th feature for Unknown-Rider.

If you are second for a bit, you'll keep an annoying speed until the end, so you often makes some great comebacks on ghosts. So, since you lead most of it and the competition is insane (this track is from a contest) and your ghost is pretty solid, we think it's a feature. 12th feature for Unknown-Rider.

 

We do this if we find a ghost suspicious enough.

 

As I said in the update, the new suggestions, like from the past 1 or 2 weeks, we still hadn't time to check it out properly. We will start to review them soon, so you will get some feedback in the next update. But giving it a quick look, both suggestions look good. Let's see how it goes.

 

Really impressive ghost by Uniior. Nicely done! Congrats on entering the list!
