The Tour De France ?

I just had this great idea, what if someone could build a replica track of the Tour De France ? Someone with good scenery skills would be needed, because the scenery would need to change from country to country. Racing ghosts in it would be awesome !

 

That would be a long track...

 

Yeah. Checkpoints defenitely should be provided.

 

But the main problem is there will be few or no replays at all.
Replays with a high move count don't get recorded.
Since FRHD doesn't reset the time i.e. counts all moves,
unlike its predecessors, this problem is a common one.

 

I have replays of over 20 minutes, I think that should be enough, if this is what you mean.

 

But replays that are like 50 minutes long, don't get stored in the leaderboards. I think 20 will do.

 

I think 20 minutes is quite a long track already, but maybe we could make a Part 1 and Part 2 ( so 20 minutes each making 40 minutes total). Woah, if a track is gonna be that long, then it should maintain a fun theme or else people might get bored along the way...

I don't think any of you would play 50min on the same track..

 

10 minutes for the whole Tour would be enough. 1 minute each country in where you ride and your done! Longer than 10 minutes would be very boring for the players.

 

IIRC, I have seen some people making extremely long times.

 

yeah, me too. But still.

 

Best way is to divide them into parts.

That will be alot of work for the creator too btw.

 

I think that 10 minutes would be ideal for a track.

 

We could create a track with many users, so a track made by alot of people.

 

One country for one person would be nice

How bout make a playlist(tour de France 2/insert country here). I mean, it already shows other tracks the author has created.
