Lmao you act as if you know everything there is to know about modern politics, but then you won't even answer a fair question? Your immediate response is a comeback (if that) that has no meaning? I personally am under age and I don't really follow politics very closely, but I'm not afraid to call out hypocrisy when I see it. The majority of what you've been saying about the polls is absolutely true. Yes the polls shows Biden ahead now, but it was the same circumstance, even a more major one, in 2016. This is a reason that many democrats are actually worried seeing the polls going there way, because overconfidence killed them last time. It pains me to watch as this country falls apart, and both the left and right are responsible. Trump is no savior, and Biden isn't either. People like you who antagonize the other side are just driving the United States further into the ground. Please consider reading this with an open mind and not spit in my face as a response, I am not against you, in fact I tend to lean a little more republican myself, I am just trying to help you see the effect of your actions.

He’s a lost cause. I couldn’t take him seriously. He doesn’t understand that the first two polls were a combination of general election favorability and voter turnout projections. Two things Democrats always get wrong.

Sure Joe Biden could theoretically win, if somehow people could in good conscious vote for him. The problem is, you’re not going to get that kind of turnout when your whole campaign is being not-Trump. Not to mention Joe’s lack of charisma, corruption and senile behavior.

I'm not gonna respond to this purely because I haven't done any research and I wouldn't want to spread false information. You may very well be right about that. As for the rest of your reply, I agree. Despite the polls, Biden is not looking good. As for me, I'm unsure of who I like more. I agree with some of Trump's policies, but it's hard to get over how he treats people. I may like some of the things he is doing, but he is undeniably a terrible person. Biden isn't any better. I do agree with some of Biden's policies, and disagree with many others. Not to mention that he can't say a full sentence without stuttering. There are many other reasons why I don't like each candidate, but these are the main ones. I feel that both are an embarrassment to our country, but at the same time I understand why people support each. In my experience, Trump supporters don't always approve what he says, but they like what he does. Understandable. And on the other end, people like biden because he doesn't say all of the stupid stuff trump does. Many Biden supporters don't necessarily like him, but they see him as the lesser of two evils. Also understandable. My goal of writing these long paragraphs is just to help both sides understand why they support their candidates, because too often everyone has a closed mind and just sees the other side as the enemy. We are one fvcking country, we can't treat each other like that. So instead telling someone to "stay in the circus bud", why not RESPECTIVELY answer their question, or RESPECTIVELY tell them why you refuse to answer? Or even tell them it's a stupid question, but in a RESPECTFUL manner. Nothing good comes out of comments like that. You will find that many more people will respect you in return, whether they agree with your opinions or not.

the perception that polling is inaccurate is almost entirely emotional response to 2016, which had a very volatile lead up to the election with a “shock” win by trump. the polls tracked those changed pretty accurately and weren’t far off from the real results; most major ones now have adjusted their methodology to account for what they missed in 2016 anyway. polling will probably get closer as the election approaches but unless something changes soon to inject a lot of volatility into the situation i would be pretty concerned if i were a trump supporter, the confidence in this thread seems to be entirely based on wishful thinking — detached from reality!

Despite your constant criticism and constant insulting behaviour, I've tried to actually reply to your self-indulgent egotistical comments rationally. I'm not too big on politcal discussions (because they tend to get toxic), but I think he ignored your question about what he would do if Biden wins because it's irrelevant to the discussion. Also, he did explain why he posted the first 2 polls (although not to you):

It's funny you say he ignored everything you said though because you have done the same to him... so idk man. When Obama was elected there was no rioting, no protests, no crying, and no claims of "i'M gOnNa mOvE tO cAnAdA" (which I heard in 2016 from half the students at my school and celebs on social media). I highly doubt there would be any at Bidens election either.

I do agree pssst is a bit off-putting when talking politics, but who cares? Look at substance, not emotion (in my opinion).
