Then why suggest it?

The criteria for a ghost to be considered for the list is clear in the second post:

"Criteria:

We're looking for your fastest ghosts to feature, if you think it's unbeatable then post the link and we'll consider it. Undoubtedly people will try to beat the suggestions, this should help to raise the bar and encourage competition between riders. You can suggest your own ghosts or others if you spot a good one, we'll wait a little while to see if it can be done faster

We're also looking for the most impressive and stylish trick ghosts to feature, if you feel you sometimes can’t match the speed of some people, work on your tricks.

Criteria for fast ghosts – maintaining speed, minimal mistakes, smoothness, creative shortcuts, finding interesting paths of flow, close calls, endurance, managing tricks within a very fast run, no easy hold up tracks, and should be at least 15 seconds long.

Criteria for trick ghosts – creative tricks, flow, smoothness, minimal mistakes, nice style to watch, endurance, difficulty will be judged and it should be at least 15 seconds long.

Criteria for autocuts – significant cut of an auto that would be difficult to replicate, which could mean anything from incredible tricks using parts of the auto or just a bit of luck; ghosts do not have to be longer than 15 second mark, but should be at least 10 seconds long, so that they probably are not easily replicable.

Criteria for vehicle ghosts – similar criteria to fast ghosts, only difference is that the majority of the time the ghost will be in a vehicle, meaning a spectacular heli, blob, balloon, or truck ghost.

PS: Exceptions - In some cases we can have featured ghosts that doesn't match the minimum length for their category, but it's an exceptional measure, only for extremely good ghosts."

So, if you ghost don't fit those requiriments, please don't suggest it. If you think your ghost is good enough for an exception, ok, but you said yourself that your ghost was bad, so for now on you shouldn't post these kind of ghosts anymore, if you don't really think it's worthy.

If you keep posting many ghosts that you know that are not feature worthy, we will have to start to delete some of your posts, since you would be just spamming the thread at this point. We can edit and delete your posts on this thread, so if you keep posting a crazy amount of ghosts per day here we will start to politely put all of your suggestions in a single post and delete the following ones (if the suggestions are serious to begin with).

You have some really respectable suggestions, like this one: https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/558402-mon/r/boostbutt, so focus on sending your best ghosts, and not all the ghosts you make.

UPDATE PART 1:

Hey guys, what's up? Yeah, I know we are taking a bit long with this update, sorry for that. We are a bit busy, but since we wanted to have something out for you guys, here's the part 1 of the update, with the ghosts we already reviewed. There's like 60 ghosts total to review, and there's 22 in this update. These ghosts below are the ones we easily agreed on yes or no and a few ones that we would like to challenge you guys on, since they are not ready yet, but have potential. All of the other suggestions are still needing some further discussion, review from one of us and in a few cases, they still require reviews from both of us.

That way I can see how my ghost compare to others in a better way. I think it's a solid ghost, with a few spots to improve on.

https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/223859-adventure/r/mr..a - Eryp and I were checking if there was any good ghost on the old Featured Ghosts thread that didn't make to this list and this one was a ghost that was in that list. It's a good ghost, but totally improvable, so I guess it's time to call the new ghosters to try this one.

https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/1159-planet-of-the-ramps/r/robertu - This is not a feature, but I think it'll be good to challenge people to beat it. I don't know, maybe someone can do a crazy ghost here mixing skill and luck.

https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/95778-seventh-sea/r/anonyymi - Legendary duel between Anonyymi and RedOrBlue in this classic track by alexander. We thought it was worth it, despite being slightly under 15 seconds. Anonyymi reaches his 50th feature again.
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/597025-blob-challenge-2/r/charredlizard21 - We heard about a possible new shortcut on this track, but we think that this ghost is already good enough for a feature. CHARREDLIZARD21 is killing with his blob ghosts, so it's the 2nd feature for him.
https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/195874-ghosting-tunnel/r/isekeb - For multiple reasons, took us more than 1 month to feature this ghost, but after confirming its legitimacy we decided to feature this ghost, that is easily one of the best featured trickghosts we ever had on the list. Legendary job by isekeb, 2nd feature for him.

We would like to see what some of the new ghosters could do here, but we already think that this is a good enough ghost. At least for now, 4th feature for Sidewalk (R.I.P.)

Hahaha, nice. His ghost was great, but it was a bit old, so I wasn't entirely sure of how good it was, but sometimes a feature can be a good motivation for new people to try and to check the level of the ghost compared to today's standards. Great ghost, man!

 

UPDATE:

This is not the part 2 of the update in the suggestions, but I just want to let you guys know that Eryp and I can give the medals to you guys now. So, we already gave the ghosting medals missing for Chaos-Fallen, BrendanMagill and TuttiFruity. Congrats to them for winning those, and anytime someone earns a medal here it's probably going to be updated faster.
