ROUND 1 OPINIONS​

first round is over and this was a success! last year when i hosted this i was really hyped to see some crazy ghosts and amazing races but i was a little disappointed because it did not raise to my expectations. this year i announced this as early as possible to gain more ghosters and hype up the whole contest. and it worked! it gained around 50 participants which was way more than i was expecting and that made me really happy. i really wanted to help the ghosters community to have more fun and make new challenges.
as for the race itself in ROUND 1 i am really happy with the results. a great amount of really good ghosters made the first round extremely fun. the highlight of the round was RedOrBlue making that absolutely beautiful ending. it was truly something unexpected and wonderful to see. one of the best without a doubt.
i personally attempted to make the best ghost possible and i was going to but my ending was not very strong. Stevie.T aced the parts where i was a little wacky and tied my time with a spectacular ghost. i tried my best to beat it but it was not that easy.
also Ultraviolet and Slayed made superb ghosts on the last day but it was just little slower than the top three yet it was so close and fun it did not matter. i really loved watching their ghosts and the race they were putting up. my track was really hard to flawless and perfect. but due to the really high-quality ghosts their job in securing the top 3 was not a success. even tho their ghosts were extremely professional.
Kazman was my favourite ghoster of the first round. spending more than 7+ hours trying to enter the leaderboard but failed in the end. he had many great ghosts but unfortunately choked his ending as it was a really hard ending to flawless. you sir have gained my respect. if you keep up grinding this hard im sure one day you'd be a legendary ghoster.
also shoutout to isekeb for also trying hard to enter the leaderboard and successfully doing so. he even predicted his final time before making it. it was an epic moment. great ghost my friend.
it was also a little unfortunate to not see an absolutely epic ghost from Totoca12 but due to technical difficulties, it was really hard for him. i hope you can get used to your new keyboard and join the race as soon as possible.
it was an intense race so entering the leaderboard was a really hard task. which also made ghosters like BrendanMagill , Kazman and DrChill not enter the top 10 even tho they had extremely good ghosts. hopefully we see you guys on the leaderboards of the next rounds.
even tho i was really happy with the end results of the first round. there were alot of people who couldnt ghost the first round. which was a little unfortunate. hopefully they can ghost the next rounds.

U bumped me out in the last few hours... I tried for too long and gave up. Great job to all who made top 10! Never done anything like this and it's rlly fun! Can't wait to see the ghosts for Round 2!

 

Race Commentary by: CHARREDLIZARD21​

Hello and welcome to the first round of Ghosting Battle Contest 2, this is your commentator CHARREDLIZARD21 . Our ride here was made by Madara and detail by Holystone and NewHola. We have 49 competitors looking to win this competition this year. Here is a recap of the race.


And they’re off, everyone is neck and neck to the first star, and Madara takes an early lead while Stevie.T catches up, followed by Ultraviolet and Slayed. RedOrBlue pulls a sick wheelie into the bomb backflip while Stevie.T takes the lead. Into the bomb hop Stevie.T has a pulled a considerable gap on the others. Madara is in second and Slayed closely behind. Stevie.T loses some speed and the bomb hop letting Madara take the lead again and Slayed also moves back a place neck and neck with Arrow and RedOrBlue. Madara and Stevie.T tie to the second star, with RedOrBlue closely behind who quickly takes the lead after the second star with Madara in second and Arroww goes into third. After the monster in the ground (Madara might want to tell me what that is) RedOrBlue has pulled a gap over Madara in Second who has also pulled a similar gap on Stevie.T and Slayed in 3rd and 4th. Slayed overtakes Madara on the next jump, while RedOrBlue has a massive lead with victory almost assured if no major mistakes are made. RedOrBlue does an amazing bounce of the platform to go straight to the stairs, move of the match, while Madara moves into second followed by Stevie.T. Slayed, Ultraviolet, Precalculus and Arroww follow in that order close behind and could take a top 3 spot if someone makes a mistake on the last, but one of the most simple obstacles, while RedOrBlue looks like he’ll take a comfortable win. RedOrBlue finishes in 32.53, Madara makes a small mistake on the last obstacle, allowing Stevie.T to catch up and end up tying with Madara. Slayed comes in 4th 0.10 seconds later and ultraviolet gets 5th only 0.14 seconds behind will Precalculus ends up in 6th and Arroww 7th. Isekeb is just over a second behind Arrow in 8th with a respectable time of 35.50 with Chaos-Fallen just 0.07 seconds behind, while Totoca12 ends up rounding out the top 10 only 0.03 seconds behind. Only 14 others completed the track, all earning one point in the overall standings. I’d also like to mention how isekeb was doing well in the middle pack before making a mistake before the tube same with Chaos-Fallen, also a good job to Totoca12 who was quite far behind Chaos-Fallen before catching up. Slowest time out of all competitors was 1:25.23 by CHARREDLIZARD21. Hope you have enjoyed my commentary on the top 10. Now onto round 2 where Madara seems to have an early lead.
