The total cases number is garbage. Way more people have already gotten the virus and recovered than the current number. An antibody test in California found that up to 80k people in Santa Clara county had already contracted the virus, but the total reported cases in the county was only 1,000. For that reason the death rate numbers are inflated and the actual death rate is much closer to the regular flu than what it is currently. State and local governments are revealing their tyrannical nature right now.

America doesn't need anything from China. I hope Trump hits them with tariffs harder than ever after this is over. China was studying corona viruses in their Wuhan lab before the outbreak, this virus 100% was released from their labs (not necessarily intentionally). It defies all logic to say this just happened to occur naturally, in Wuhan of all places.

MSM cannot be trusted, they want to get into China's market. There is a blatant conflict of interest in their reporting.
CEO's who speak out against Trump's China tariffs also do so because they want to make money in China. Don't listen to them. There are conflicts of interest everywhere.
Just wait for the horror stories that will come out of China after this is all over.

But the Infection rate is a lot higher, which overall means a lot more deaths in total

actually, if a majority of Americans are infected (which will probably happen if there are no lockdowns anymore), even a mortality rate of 0.3% (20x less than reality) will kill 1 million people


I do like though how Wuhan (after they effectively stopped the infection) suddenly increased its death toll by 50%.

 

The USA has 75 times the population of New Zealand.

NZ gang! saw some crazy post from an american complaining that a lock-down would breach their rights and freedom, makes me glad i don't live there.
while over here in NZ we just got straight into it and got rid of our 1000+ Covid cases without significant spread
(although I do understand that the population of america is 100x larger)

 

Yeah, here in the UK, we have had 41k deaths, whilst the US has had 115k. If we divide the total number of deaths by the population of the respective countries to provide a fair comparison, the number you get from the UK (0.000615....) is right around 1.75x the number for the US(0.000350...). Shows sometimes the orthodox approach isn't the best idea, and also shows how useless the UK government has been. It is strange how leaders care more about the financial markets than their citizen's lives (i.e. going into lockdown too late, and lifting it too early), as has been the case here especially.

If Joe Biden does somehow win the Presidential election, It just wouldn't make any sense. He's a literal puppet, they want someone black to be the Vice President, which will only lead to a very bad America. But I believe theres a 100 percent chance that Trump will win.
