No, the scoring system is
1/10 for detail
1/10 for ride
1/10 for creativity
So you get "extra" points for more detail. Simple does not necessarily mean good

 

is detail the grey lines or just like windows grass and like extra stuff like that

 

Detail is anything that's not the track itself, at least the way I see it. Even the simplest of things, such as a grey underline for the black lines.
