Calm.Wizard thank you, I am going to try to make the smallest branches grey for a little bit of "shading" I hope it will work. I will post the picture here in a bit.
Okay, here is the pic. from the latest tree. I tried using grey for the smaller branches and it made a huge difference!
Looks good! All I'll say is it's difficult to carry that level of detail throughout an entire track and keep consistency. I'm sure you'll figure it out though.
I am working on keeping up my consistency, but my REAL problem is procrastination! I find it hard to do a good job throughout a track without immediate gratification, but I find that as my detail gets better I find the track itself is gratification enough.
I really like that mindset. When I stopped rushing my tracks to and publishing them quickly to see how many likes I could get, my track making improved greatly. Procrastination is still a problem though lol. My advice for that is pretty obvious, just draw the things that you're interested in and find fun, and you hopefully won't get too bored
hey Ive been struggling with trees lately, especially smaller ones, anything to improve on here? I know it looks terrible, but ive been trying a couple different methods and nothings really been working

Thank you, i have been improving it. Ever since Tripping Hazard got like 7k plays, I have really tried to make tracks worthy of the plays that they sometimes get. If I do not like the finished version when I publish, I get angry at myself for publishing anyway; I have been working on a track for three weeks right now, without a background still because the track still doesn't suit me. Ha ha I think I should prob. start making the background and working on it right now so I won't "have" to procrastinate later on. XD
