if any recent suggestions are being taken into consideration, i am suggesting all of my tracks for feature.
All of these box contest entries are really good entries but I only think that https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/713551-inca and maybe https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/713541-calypso, should have gotten the feature.
your track really reminds me of having the same problems fundamentally as jacobcahoon's box contest entry from 2014: https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/72140-mountainous-escape-ver. just as jacob, youve focused heavily on length and density, rather than quality, and this isnt really a great way of getting a feature (despite the opposite being true, less truly is more. see netsik's latest track) remember that quantity is one of around FIVE standards a track is often measured by (quality, quantity, originality, ride, layout, etc). your track lacks a lot in other areas, and imo lacks most of all a wow-factor. at the end of the day, looking past the kb size, youve made a really heavy cave blob track. the detail is messy, and the extra lines dont really add anything. it lacks a wow-factor that the featured bce's have, a centrepiece id encourage you to further refine detail like this, which looks infinitely better and actually makes sense and furthermore push yourself past simple stuff like cave tracks. good is not great, and simply 'good' isnt enough for a featured track
Thanks for the feedback Volund! I would like to try my hand one more time at a cave track (because I've been building up the skills to do this type of detail for about a year now), this time focusing all of my efforts on quality over quantity with detail, and going for a bigger scale. I'll really take what you said to heart, and I'll try to focus more on the better-looking detail rather than just placing down as many lines as I can fit After I finish this I would like to expand out into different styles, and just try everything really!
