I have an old Wacom Bamboo Capture drawing pad that I connect to my computer. It works very well, but to be honest I don't think It makes me much better than I would be at this point with a regular mouse. It's just what you are comfortable with that makes the best work

I use the trackpad on my laptop, so I just use my finger to trace shapes and whatnot.

I have one of those track pad things but I never use it anymore, it's kinda sloppy imo.

recently, I found this thing called glass 2k which lets you make a window transparent, that way you can just trace a picture and get the proportions just so, and it makes drawing with an annoying mouse much easier, but to each his own style I guess

That's tracing. It's frowned upon by all the older member from the community. There were a few people who did it back on Canvas Rider, but most people felt that it was like cheating and an offense against creativity.

The bad thing is it was common by some of the most well respected. I also feel like someone could easily draw a picture by hand, take a picture then trace that and no one would ever know.

maybe it is cheating, but if I want to make good drawings, I do it on paper. tracing and drawing free hand will both yield the same product on Free Rider, but tracing saves loads of time.

Well if you trace I won't appreciate your tracks, if that means anything to you

it does mean something to me because your appear to be a really good artist, but I am no artist, and I'm not trying to impress anybody
