any tips?

 

I drew this quickly to illustrate my point, i think gems and crystals always look better when the shape tapers outward from bottom to top, rather than the other way around (as you've drawn). Could be worth a shot, otherwise i think what you have looks good; dunno about the shading however

 

i searched up "quartz" (with the quotations) and i clicked the track that was there (the good one) and then i just copied from that design.

looking a lot better ! now give a shot drawing some crystals without a reference; no problem with copying to learn, but now that youve shown progress should consolidate it with your own drawings
