Another way to earn revenue: People can pay a dollar or such to have their track at the front of the trending page or on the home menu, and the tracks image would have a tag saying sponsored on it.

Why, if you didn't pay nothing changes, the game is the same as it is now. If you pay, you get extras. So you might as well leave with that attitude
I think ads all over the forums ( after each few posts ) is better than FRHD+, and it's been done a lot in different forums and it worked very well, enabling those forums to never make any single thing paid on their websites!
Not if it's done properly. In each thread, there should be a few ads after every 6 or 8 posts. But not in the main forums/subformus page!

Fine, here are my reasons. They would be extremely annoying between posts. Some have bad images on them. If they are in-between posts you can click on them by accident and go to a bad site. It would make the site look less clean. There would be major complaints and people might leave. Happy ? *closes conversation again*
*starts conversation again* The bad images can be blocked easily from the settings of the ads provider, for example Google AdSense's dashboard!. Clicking on ads by accident never happens if you put the word "AD" in a very large font size on top of the ads. It won't make the site look less clean, in fact, this site's colour scheme is better than all the other forums that I have ever seen! There will be major complaints from dumbasses, not literate people!
pssst's key word in his post is can, it's your choice whether to pay or not. Your fact about money not being involved in the game is false, FRHD plus will have to be purchased with money, and it also wont drive away members because you just simply don't have to buy it. And I don't think the "FREE" in Free Rider is even related to money, it means the rider is free to do what he wants, to explore tracks and live freely. I think it's a good idea, but there should just be a whole new section for it named "Sponsored Tracks". And if the member pays say at least 10 tracks to get sponsored, he/she could become a "Sponsored Member".
No offense, but i sorta wish that u WOULD leave, all you've done on the Forum so far is annoy people and be negative, its kind of annoying. If you dont like what this game is about, dont spoil it for others who do.
