im gonna take next year to fix my r1 redo my r2 and combine r3 along with another big track i have going on and make a new track to make a giant mash up of my Rc8 tracks

Max! Track captures a sense of the strange in a supernatural way and stays true to Lovecraftian cosmic horror. Track rides consistently, is fast and engaging and parallels the chaotic nature of everything going on in the track. Good use of shapes, variation of your shapes keeps the track feeling more alive(movement and direction in the cloud-mist, vortex-like nature of the teleport, whip-like movement in the tentacles, circular aura suggesting rocks spinning/staying in place, etc.) and helps to bring enough clarity and distinction towards every aspect of the track. The degree of detail is enough for it to look good in normal zoom and when zoomed out. One of the biggest strengths in this track is how finished and whole it is; there is an obvious theme/idea behind it and it is sufficiently executed. Trackmaking experience shows as everything looks professional and tastefully done with quirky elements such as the ring of stars around your name to its cartoony style the track oozes personality.

With this track I suggest to up the contrast either through upping the degree of shading with either gray/black or alternatively filling portions of track with pure black/gray. Contrast can serve to keep things more visually engaging without drawing things that are visually engaging. Additionally you could consider playing around with the thickness of the lines you put down, again this is another way of visually enhancing your detail while keeping to your general style along with further differentiating what is what in a track.
Ex. Went about it while keeping to your style(for the most part)
Granted that there is a time limit of course you gotta decide what’s feasible within it. Nonetheless I find you have the most holistic and excellent entry of round 2! Cheers on that!

However, during that short burst, in and out of portals, is some of the best views of any tracks ever. Look to switch that up, incorporate more elements of nature or city details(greenery, vines, shrubs, fungi, fabric, cars, streetlights, roads, etc.), find ways to bring circular, cylindrical, and/or triangular shapes into the mix or combine multiples of those shapes.
Ex. shapes can be subtle but it makes a big difference, have things jut in and out. Break down long segments of a single straight line and have it jut in and out, similar effect

The scope of everything is what gave way to many of the problems. With its size there are a lot of discrepancies with the detail as a whole(size is nice but if it compromises the overall look it isn't worth it), the track mainly suffers from a lack of consistency in the degree of detail, this really hurt your visual aspect. When zooming out the track has massive gaps of detail. The track is certainly complex at points but you gotta up the complexity of the track throughout, this goes back to detail consistency. There shouldn't be parts of track incredibly detailed only for other parts left relatively untouched. You gotta decide what’s workable given your time limit and tweak what you can to fit it. Despite this it's still an amazing work and really shows a lot of effort and determination which is why it placed higher up among the rest.

Holy s***! This one is amazing! It has the highest level of artwork I’ve seen in this contest since Vulcan Genesis. It’s awing to look at the perspective and the way the detail impacts the track. Highlights being the spaceship and the beam coming from space, pulling you up in conjunction with the gravity change and the obscured movement of the truck. It makes the track feel alive. Outside of being one of the greatest tracks I’ve ever played, this one truly feels inspired and I have a feeling people will look to emulate the style and feel of this track for years to come.

3rd. Broken Down Palace by Netsik - 27.5 points

Compared to many of the other tracks this is one of the more subtle entries in theme, detail, and ride. It is a well-rounded track and the major wow factor is how all its components come together, it feels for the most part a finished track. What I thought was problematic with many of the entries was that everyone went too wild with their ideas and complexity which may have resulted in their half-finished entries: ideas that didn't come to fruition(which of course don't count). Your track on the other hand does well to present itself as a complete work with enough focal points and detail(fits in nicely with the theme, everything drawn is clear and consistent) that keep things interesting and really pushes your entry above the rest. The track itself rides well and does a good job of letting players experience the whole thing; seeing the buildings, trees, shrubbery, and the hints of dilapidation across the track adds to an immersive and engaging ride.

A thing to work on is adding a lot more visual complexity to the track, the building on the far left is a good example of complexity, you gotta continue that. My advice when you find things becoming too plain and ordinary with structures is to break that up with more circular, cylindrical, and/or triangular shapes. For your case combine multiples of those shapes into a building somehow. Or add completely dynamic things like creatures, animals, etc.(don't have to be out of this world to be interesting). The three buildings between church and castle could have had more to them and are weaker points in the track. I suggest adding more nuances to the buildings structure or work on including even more details to it such as vines, gutters, tiles, etc. In certain areas it gets sloppy, perspective is off and certain areas are slanted where they shouldn't be, or don't make sense so definitely be careful of that. Lastly a background beyond the buildings would be a good final touch to the track. Of course these are all ideas and suggestions, you choose to take them or not. Regardless of all that it still stands as a great well-rounded, well-developed track! Great job!

This track has some really cool focal points. With the theme you've chosen it gives way to more complicated and demanding drawings so props to you for that. I find what's really a pain is coming up with ideas of machinery to draw(that is also cool to look at), that whole process can really take its toll and can be quite demotivating. The track starts out fairly strong with the black shadows naturally providing contrast to the track. Contrast intensifies a piece visually: make more engaging to viewers. Although the background lacks a lot of this as I lose much of the depth and distinction from what's a part of what making it appear flat where it shouldn't. One thing I thought was very outstanding is the tent fabric in the track, whether intentional or not it's a clever way to switch/spice things up from all the robust machinery. The folds and smooth nature of the fabric really gives a break from all the hard, straight machinery and rocks, def should implement more of that! Other instances of curved shapes, round shapes such as the tubes/industrial cables, teleport exit, robot hand, etc. also have a similar effect; really breaks the monotony of rectangular machinery.

Main issue I have with this track is that it's half finished, this really hurt the look of your track overall. There's too much blank space and the level of detail is non-existent, whatever ideas you had for the second half were not actualized and the final centerpiece of the aircraft mecha, though interesting and creative, is not enough. The ride of the track near the end plays out very inconsistently albeit this is a minor error. Still, this was a more difficult theme and the aspects that were finished carried the track quite a long ways!

I’m very high on this one, because I feel the artistic direction here and accompanying feel of the track is amazing. When it comes to straight up drawing, you may be the most talented within the contest. Highlights here of course being the furry drawings and the end of the track inside the circle, but while rather subtle, the chain link grid above was definitely an attention grabber. I feel like you have the potential to make something great anytime you click draw a track.

However, the biggest highlight of the track for me, the tree houses, have no impact on the track itself. Much of the playthrough seems very run-of-the-mill.
