for speed ghosts - is there a minimum amount of plays required on the track? just wondering seeing as a ghost is more likely to be beaten if there is, say, 5k plays on a track compared to 500 edit: play -> plays
Not really. But what I was saying to we_are_number_one is that is that we prefer suggestions in tracks that aren't just smooth jumps/easy tracks. In harder tracks, it's more likely to your ghosts be taken more seriously in terms of actually getting a feature, but it's still possible to get features on easier tracks. Following this example of we_are_number_one, he is a master of those smooth jumps tracks, as we can see for the amount of 1st places that he has. The issue is, that in this list we aim for the best of the best, so if the track is easy and everyone can complete it with kinda similar times, even if you are 1st on it by a fair distance, it can still be hard to feature this ghost, because there's not a great ammount of skill needed. Many times, the situation is that the best players just don't care enough to try to ghost those tracks. Something that can make your ghost stand out in this kind of tracks is the competition. If it's a track with many good players on the leaderboard, or if it's a track with like millions of plays, like Haunted Mansion and 2012, it's way harder to get the 1st place on them. That's why the ghosts are featured. Because, despite the minimal difficulty of the tracks, they destroyed the competition in a track with millions of plays and with pretty much every good ghoster trying the track at least once. Another factor that can help is the length, like in the 100 jumps case. To get the 1st place on this track you have to do 3 and a half minutes of a decent ride without dying in a track with over half a million plays. The jumps are easy but there's an endurance factor added to it. That's why it's featured. So, it's harder to get features on easy tracks, but the length, popularity and the competition can help to make your ghost more relevant and special, which can make your ghost more suitable for a feature. Now answering your question, it doesn't matter how many plays the track has, but if no one else tried, it's hard to know how hard it really is. If only you completed the track, and it's your track and it has a very low amount of plays, it's probably not going to be a feature. But there's people with features in their own tracks, like Sannin and I. The thing that makes it possible, is if a decent amount of people at least tried, and talking about hard tracks, it's crucial that at least a few great ghosters have tried the track before. And even if it isn't in your own track, it's important that at least some people played the track. So I don't think that we would ever feature a ghost in an easy track with just a few plays, but a ghost in a track with like 100 plays where the top 10 ghosters of the game tried and only 1 made it with a good ghost could be feature. It all depends on the ghost and the track. But feel free to send your suggestions. We made 3 exceptions on smooth jumps tracks and 2 for the minimum lenght of 15 seconds, so you never know.
might have to stop ghosting completely having problems with my D key but for now it works ill just enjoy it while it lasts.
Yeah, I know the feeling. My keyboard is kinda broken for a while, but I'll finally get it fixed soon. 1 key makes a lot of difference, lol. I did the Movie Mania CCE ghost with my brother's notebook, otherwise I would have never finished. Hope it goes well.

I honestly agree with Sannin . Your landing techniques and brake timing are insane, and it appears you spacebar. I would love to be proved otherwise, to see that someone can be so good and consistent without spacebarring, and I believe the only way to be proven wrong would be to have a screen-recording of one of these insane ghosts being created.
