no my point is that them not identifying as leftists doesnt really matter if theyre voting for leftists.

Join the Melon Tribe or the Melon ghost will kill all of your children. Melons are superior to chicken nuggets. Chickens are abused then eaten. Our Melons grow when they want and are not killed. They are praised.

It actually does. The only thing is that they disagree with their own party, but they certainly aren't Republicans.

Trump doesnt wear a wig, but its obvious that he dyes his hair. look at pic of him from like 1980 and you can tell its not as yellow as it is now

ah, yes, i dont like what the fire is doing to my house either. the fire has gotten out of control and spread out of my fireplace. but i do like what it was before it got out of hand, i like what it did.
but on now, i still feel obligated to keep adding logs to the fire. i dont like the idea of it extinguishing. it is my responsibility as the log adder to add logs whether or not i like what the fire is doing now.
for i am not a fire fighter, i dont want to see the fire extinguished.

what a messy post, i cant see the whole thing bcs im on mobile. im sure u get the point regardless.

The example you provided is flawed, but I totally understand what you're saying. In most cases, however, a Democrat (who doesn't consider himself a leftist) will NOT vote for a Republican instead because they might have more differences. In many cases, people just choose not to vote. However, this often isn't the case.

how tho lol u cant just say that and move on
look, the meme here is that the leftists dont share the same set of base values as everyone else. so to be a classical liberal voting democrat at the moment is just mind boggling.
bro trumps liberal, change my mind
yea just argue both ways lol. in favour and against my point.

I just did. I hope you didn't actually believe that you provided a flawless example!

What you say about leftists is true to a small extent, but that applies MUCH better to Democrats or Liberals. Leftists actually do have a base set of values that set them apart from other Libs. Also, classical liberalism doesn't necessarily mean that they'll definitely vote for Democrat. I'm simply saying that you can disagree with people who consider themselves leftists, be a Democrat, and have enough differences against Republicans to still vote for a Democrat nominee. This is a common situation and applies to many people today.

I'm not trying to argue for or against any of your points. I'm setting you straight because your logic is flawed lol

its a comparison, dont worry, nobody's house burned down.
    good troll lmao
    ? ? ?
a subtle little switcharoo in the wording
youre coming off awefully arrogant, do you think you can change anyones mind with an attitude like that? cmon, we all know it's rather childish to think opinions are facts.
and setting what straight, you havent said anything of substance. :/

answer this btw, what does it mean to be a liberal?
dont look it up or anything like that, just think about it for a brief second and tell me.

Before we proceed, I want you to know that I'm only coming off as arrogant as you are. I certainly don't like using this tone of voice, but if a "mirror match" is necessary, then so be it.
That's not the kind of flaw that I meant.
You haven't looked at your own comments, obviously.
To better clarify, "classical liberalism" isn't exactly left-wing in today's politics. You can find such people on either side.

No, I'm making my position clearer in the second one.
Eh well, sorry buddy but I'm getting the exact same thing here! :/
Of course, opinions in nature are not factual, but your opinion can still happen to be a factually-based one.
So I haven't said anything of substance? How about, leftism and liberalism aren't the same things? Can we agree on that one?

Well, I do know that being a liberal person means that you are open-minded to change and advancement of ideas, so that's my answer.

no thats progressive, the advancement of ideas can be understood as sort of a progression of ideas and values

so yea no im not gonna argue wrong definitions anymore, guess u need to sort urself straight before going at others ;):oops::oops:o_O:unsure::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::secretcat::secretcat::secretcat::secretcat::secretcat:

    edit
yea those who say theyre liberal may tend to be those things but being liberal certainly doesnt mean that
