I'm curious to see what types of people are on here.
If you haven't taken the test, I recommend it. It may tell you a lot about yourself.

What type are you? I am distinctly an INTP. Descriptions I've read couldn't be more accurate.

Some of the questions aren't perfect, and some people may lean towards the middle of a certain trait, but I find that it's generally pretty accurate.

to be more explicit, mbti is nonsense and basically astrology for guys, the test has major issues in just about every way a test could and (like astrology) all the types are described in a vague enough way that pretty much anyone except the most diametrically opposed people can find themselves agreeing with any of them. pretty much the only meaningful measure it has is the introversion-extroversion axis, which most people are pretty aware of anyway...

more useful would be taking a good questionnaire for the five factor model or something, but that doesnt have a convenient 4 letter identity u can attach to so it doesnt have as much popularity online

but yeah anyway i got INTP too

Nah it's fairly accurate. Maybe moreso for nt types, but I'm usually able to guess people's types if I know them. They always seem surprised. I'd say I've got about a 90% accuracy rate

Keep in mind it gives you a percentage of each letter

i'd take that with a grain of salt and have them take the test again then since (from the article i posted above) "even when the test-retest interval is short (e.g., 5 weeks), as many as 50 percent of the people will be classified into a different type". i've gotten different classifications (INTJ, INFP, and now INTP) each of the last 3 times ive taken it.
the whole idea of splitting continuously distributed variables into one-or-the-other dichotomies is bad, statistically most people fall in the middle of the two extremes and thus get pushed into one bucket or the other by whatever slight preference they have on that given day, giving them the same result as someone who overwhelmingly pointed in that direction. it's overly simplistic and inaccurate. the specific descriptions for each type fall into this problem, since you have a coinflip shot at ending up in a different categorization each time you take the test; really the only useful way to use it is to look at the percentages at the end of the test and see if there are any measures where you're overwhelmingly towards one side because those give you an idea of where you differ from the norm

You can have different results as you grow/age/change moods. These tests can be a useful way to level up your perception of yourself and others, and give a basic understanding of different traits and personality types and what they mean. It is not "THE TRUTH" or anything, and it is certainly simplistic and flawed, but still a useful tool. I think it's specifically a great "intro to personality tests" since it is easy to understand. There are better personality tests out there but most of them are long and expensive with fairly opaque results and still are not the "THE TRUTH". I can generally guess someone's MB with >80% accuracy, but as you say it's much easier when they are a highly expressed extrovert, or an insistent rule-follower etc.

ENTP, though I would lean to agree with octo as many of my answers were either uncertain or soft y/n as opposed to hard Y/N which would lead me to think that I was sorta in the middle of whatever scale or spectrum lol there was and the test just picked a side off small variances.
