ENDED Free Rider World Cup 3

So, I will make a more organized document about it, but it looks like the calendar is going to be like this:

PS: Every round is going to start and end in a Saturday. You have a full week to get a time on the track. The exact time that the track starts and ends I will decide soon, but it will probably be at some point on my afternoon, here in Brazil.

But here are the dates:

1st Round - February 2nd
2nd Round - February 9th
3rd Round - February 16th
4th Round - February 23rd
5th Round - March 2nd
6th Round - March 9th
7th Round - March 16th
8th Round - March 23rd

Winners announced between March 23rd and 24th. Probably in the same day.

PS2: Mostly of the tracks are already in the works, and we are gathering as much coins as we can for the final pot, so we will see how much we get.

I'm rethinking about some aspects of the punctuation system, so I will post about it later.

 

So here is the "new" punctuation system (I think it's the same used in FRHD WC2):

There will be 8 rounds, and you can earn points in each round and accumulate them.

In each round the first in the leaderboard who is in the competition gets 30 points, second gets 27, third gets 25. And then it goes: 4th - 24, 5th - 23, 6th - 22, 7th - 21, 8th - 20, 9th - 19, 10th - 18, 11th - 17, 12th - 16, 13th - 15, 14th - 14, 15th - 13, 16th - 12, 17th - 11, 18th - 10, 19th - 9, 20th - 8, 21st - 7, 22nd - 6, 23rd - 5, 24th - 4, 25th - 3, 26th - 2, 27th - 1. Everyone else who completes gets 1 point and if you don't complete the track, you get nothing .

After 8 rounds, the one with more points wins.



This way, if you don't do well in a round, you can still recover from it. The other way, it would be way harder.

I'm only helping making 1 of the tracks, so I don't see an actual problem. I won't take any coins if I finish in the top places. It would be mostly just for fun. But as I said before, I don't know if I'll be able to fix my keyboard or find a solution soon. But if I do, I think it will be fun. Also, I will have screenshots and everything at the end of the rounds, so I will be the first to respect all of the chronograms.

The whole point of me making this contest is because I always wanted another contest, and I know some other people wanted this either. So, I just stepped up and hosted one. I haven't been in a contest like this for a while so I don't want to miss this one, haha.

Yes, I sent RedOrBlue a message in the actual game, before he joined here in the forums. So yeah, that's a great idea. HyperCube/Vaepor is going to join the contest?

 

Ah come on, haha! You're not a noob. And yes, the contest is highly competitive at this point, but this will be fun. Not only the top 3 will get prizes, we will see what we can do, so let's go.

Maybe in the future, we could do a "permanent league", like with 2 divisions and stuff like that, during like half of the year. But it would be so hard to organize. But it's an idea.
