It's too hard for me to choose just one. My top picks are mR..A and Sidwalk.
The rest of this post is just my thoughts on various ghosters.
mR..A has numerous excellent ghosts. He is very good at offroad, trickghosts, and trials in general. He's doesn't really ghost tube tracks and technical stuff. (Technical stuff includes getting on top of a horizontal line from the position of having one wheel over it and the rest of the bike and rider under it, getting your wheel behind a slightly elevated vertical line and then climbing up it, and going through bombs.) When I first started playing this game, I didn't know him because he wasn't very active. Recently (like in the past one or two years), he has started to ghost more. I don't see him on a lot of tracks, but he's almost always within the top two on the tracks that he does ghost.
Sidewalk got really really good really really fast. In my opinion, at his peak, he was the best ghoster ever. He got first on almost all the tracks he played. Of course over time, other ghosters like Unghosted, mR..A, me, Ultraviolet, HyperCube, Zycerak, and Resurrect took some of those spots. He was good at pretty much everything except really technical stuff, probably because that stuff has always been quite rare in FRHD tracks. Unfortunately, his ghosting reign was short. I may be a bit biased in regards to Sidewalk because he was really good when I couldn't spacebar. Now that I can spacebar, I can beat him in a lot of tracks. My poor ghosting skills before may have amplified my view of Sidewalk.
Before Sidewalk, I always considered Backtwice to be the most skilled ghoster. He could ghost anything. However, he hardly ghosted at all on FRHD. If he still played, he would be my top pick.
At his peak, HyperCube was very close to, if not at the level of the best ghoster ever. He got first or second on numerous tracks. However, like Sidewalk, he soon left. He has returned, but his skill is not what it once was. He didn't have enough history for me to put him at the top.
Ultraviolet is the best helicopter ghoster I know. He is really good at everything else too, but he hasn't ghosted enough tracks for me to put him in with my top picks.
Slayed and mudkip are masters of tube tracks, but they're not the best at other types of tracks.
Unghosted, Zycerak, Whisk, and Spruce/Alice would probably rank higher in my mind if I didn't start spacebarring when I did. Though they were/are excellent ghosters, none of them ever dominated the ghosting community.
Synchronized is very skilled at offroad tracks, but not many other types.
Trickghost is good but doesn't ghost enough and hasn't been around long enough. Also, I'm pretty sure he's an alternate account because he was way too good when he started, and "ghost" is a term that you learn after playing FRHD, not before.
Ninjasparkour has always been a skilled ghoster, but he's been on and off playing the game and didn't have enough ghosts.
I forgot to mention F1n/Noob the last time I listed skilled ghosters. He was extremely good at ghosting everything, but he has stopped playing for quite some time now.
All the other players on the list aren't skilled enough or haven't played enough for me to mention in this boatload of words.
Taking into account history and impact means that it's not just about skill. mR..A has had a huge impact and history. He's really well-known and has been around since FRHD's beginning (and long before that too). mR..A is a friendly staff member who is willing to talk to people. Sidewalk was a better overall ghoster, but had less history and impact. I value ghosting skill over impact and history, but after considering Totoca12's conditions, I'm stuck between mR..A and Sidewalk.
My mind could change.
In this post, I used "he" for players. I don't actually know the genders of all of the players, but I used "he" so that I wouldn't have to keep on writing "he or she" or "(s)he" or stuff like that. Also, I'm pretty sure boys waste their time on video games more than girls overall. I don't mean to assume anyone's gender, and I'm sorry if I offended anyone.
