Anybody know how to make leaves on a tree

 

Yeah there are a few ways, u either use the outline of the entire tree and some key features or you can draw every single leaf. Look at pinn or maple for good examples

 

The examples of which might be a bit of a conundrum in my opinion...

 

In what way? Simply take your time and slowly draw each leaf. Patience can lead to a beautiful product. Look at a real tree, and compare it to those in "Omen". (Maple)
Or, you can take a look at pinn 's tracks, and take a spin at his cartoony style. Just don't copy.

something seems a little off, does anyone know how i could improve this?

 

Well first off the black wiggle or whatever on the shark the everything is pretty straight and then there is that one part, if I were you I’d erase that line and that grey dot and then make the shading closer to the tail a little stronger

 

connect your lines and the tail needs to be reshaped
