Hello everyone, welcome to the forums thread for the official free rider discord!
A few active members of the free rider community have decided to put together an official discord server, with the approval of the FRHD staff of course.
We are currently sitting at around 25 - 30 members, and we would love for you to join the community of free rider players on discord!

Here is a list of things we offer on the server:

Track help
If you are looking for some help on your track, we have a special helper role that will give you tips and feedback on your track! You can also suggest ideas for possible tracks that you might want to work on later, and find friends to do collabs with. If you want someone to test out your track before you publish it, feel free to do that as well, however make sure the person is trustworthy before giving away your track code. You don't want to get your track stolen!

Track showcase
In this channel, you can promote and showcase your new tracks. This is a great way to get your work out into the public for tons of people to see!

Races and Challenges
Here you can challenge other people to complete your tracks, and race players to see who can get the fastest time. For example, if you just got an extremely good ghost on a track, and you wanted to tell people and see if anyone can beat it, you would post it here. Also, if you want to post your best ghost, this is the perfect spot!

Suggestions
You can make any sort of suggestion you want to here, it can be something about the discord server, or anything you think should be added to free rider in general. We will relay it to the staff, and they can decide whether to implement it or not. If you think you found a great track that should be the next daily track, post it here and we will see if we can put it in line! (Please don't advertise your own track for daily track here, do that in the track showcase channel)

Events
This is an awesome addition to the discord, and it is where we host various events. I myself being an event helper will help plan out the events, and what we will be doing for them. I will continue to update this thread on the current event going on and the schedule for when they will be taking place. Anyone can participate in these events, but it is recommended that you join the discord channel in order to the more information regarding timing and such.

Everything not FRHD
Yes, we do have a separate part of the discord for off-topic discussion. If you want to chat with other players about something other than free rider, feel free to do so here. There are a few different sections under this part, and if you really want to go ahead and put your favorite meme in the memes channel (don't judge, it wasn't my idea to devote an entire part of the server to memes) just don't put memes in other parts of the server.


Rules:
Here are the official server rules, I just took these right from the discord just to make sure that you read them if you intend on joining!

1. Respect others: Respect everyone, treat others how you want to be treated.
2. NO SWEARING: Absolutely no swearing! You will get only one warning if you swear, next time you swear it will be a ban!
3. Chat in the Appropriate Channel: Always chat in the right channel, you will have 3 warnings if you chat in the wrong channel and on the 4th time you break the rule you will be punished.
4. No Spamming: If you spam you only get one warning the 2nd time you spam you will get banned!
5. Pinging staff: Do not ping staff unless you have an emergency. Under no circumstances should you ping a staff member for no reason.
6. No NSFW: No NSFW. Automatic ban if you show nsfw contents in any of the channels.
7. HAVE FUN!: Always have fun! If you are not having fun then tell me right away

Roles:
If you do join the discord, which we all dearly hope you do, then please take a look at the information and roles channel where you can learn about the different roles that you can apply for and earn. If you want to help moderate the server, events, or anything else, tell us on the discord and we will see what we can do! I won't put the full list on here because not everyone wants to see it, but if you do please join the discord and apply for what you want to be!

Here is where I will post any information about events that we are hosting. If this is out of date, please message me and I will update it immediately!

Hat designing event
We have come to the conclusion that the majority of people want a hat designing contest by looking at poll results from here and on discord. It will take place sometime around 10/5/18, but the date is subject to change. There is a chance that the winner's design might be implementing into the game itself, but don't get your hopes up. Possible prizes as well, but we aren't sure on that either.

this one is a little more layed back, you are allowed to say anything, we minimised the amount of channels so its easy to understand... but if you are interested in being controlled by mods, emojis spammed over every chat, NO SWEARING and 50 different ranks to make new-comers feel like noobs; join this new discord

Yes, the old one is nice because you can swear and do anything you want, but the majority of FRHD is not very old, and they need something more organized and kid friendly.

Kids dont want something organized and friendly, they want a toxic environment where they can release there angst, ie every other online game that has a chat.

E; also, if I wanted to be in a heavily moderated discussion I would just spam the forums
