In addition to the whole teleporter thing...

    There should be multiple colored teleporters that connect to each other so that you can have multiple teleporters at once rather than just doing just a one-in one-out teleporter.

    Ex.
    Blue teleporter = Blue teleporter
    Green teleporter = Green teleporter
    Red teleporter = Red teleporter

    Ex. 2 The Blue teleporter cannot go to a different colored teleporter but it can go to it's own colored teleporter. Same goes for green & red.

    I don't get it. Do you just want there to be more than 2 portals in one map so that you can use more of them? Or am I missing something here?

    Pretty much he wants to have more than 2 portals in a map (unless im mistaken). So, if u ride into a blue portal you can only come out of another blue portal. Understand now? Or is this MORE confusing?

    No I understand but it makes sense to me that if the dev's were to add teleporters that you would be able to have more than 2 in your map :p

    Haha, i guess so! But they never specified it, so now that FOIL has put it out in the open, people may start nagging the devs about it. I think thats y he started this thread (unless im mistaken AGAIN... ;) )

    Or maybe it should use letters instead of colors. Like "teleporter A" and so on

    Or you could have teleporter options like-
    * sender
    * receiver
    * two-way (maybe??)
    Then you would have different teleporter channels like a, b, c etc.
    As in sender a is connected to receiver a and sender b is connected to receiver b to help when you are track making.

    Portals may remove all the fun in actually riding the tracks :eek:, but then it could be used to create sorta a " grand puzzle " kinda track, where dem portals are kinda mazes, aka idk I'm confused -_-

    It could be useful with tracks with multiple routes. Or a trial puzzle thing.

    Sometimes? It's like logically all the time it's gonna be a maze, kinda maybe not dem frhd vibe and style if ya know what i'm saying!

    The only problem I could possibly see with portals as that spam tracks will get spammier, but who cares, they're spam tracks anyway.
    I have so many awesome uses for portals. Mainly for multiple route tracks, but they could also be used for smoother transitions between locations. You could put a portal in front of a building to teleport inside a building for example without having to do the whole cross-section drawing of the building.
    Also you could draw puzzle sections, even better if you would maintain your speed when going through a portal. (Think the game Portal).
    Another cool thing you could do is change the way a room looks. For example you could draw a simple room with a portal in a corner. If you go through the portal you go to a room that you drew that looks exactly the same only you changed something, for example you could draw that an item in the room has exploded or that something started leaking. This way you could give the idea that the game actually has events in it that can happen.

    This might be really vague but maybe some of you get what I mean :p. Portals are awesome !

    Well, most of what you said is a request for super-advanced scenery options ( I want dem too! :) ) , NOT portals! Secondly, as I said before I presume that FRHD is for tracks, and not mazes with multiple routes, maybe I am mistaken!

    Your definition of track is off. Tracks can be anything, from riding on clouds to riding through a maze with multiple routes.
