I would prompt him to say his reason because I need to provide explicit information and evidence from him without just having informal fragments of clueless, cumbersome, meaning-proof thoughts across his mind, especially under formal speaking conditions, to be honest (And I already, thoroughly know the meaning of "idk," therefore, of course, you should potentially not say the way-too-straightforward things like this that I already know.).

tbh it just sounds like you write something, then paste it on http://www.textinflator.com/ , put Desperation on 100% and hit inflate.
You add so many unnecessary adjectives and verbs, it sounds like you are stuggling to express yourself and it makes me uncomfortable eg "informal fragments of clueless, cumbersome, meaning-proof thoughts across his mind" that segment is so pointless it almost makes me cringe. please stop using larger words and phrases in place of smaller ones.
