For those of you who don't know, speedy__XD was the first person on FRHD to do a racing contest (which was highly successful). Anyway, go check this out! You might even place and win a prize! His thread is here and the first track is here. EverettVereen Started a "Wall of Signatures". It is a track that anyone can add their signature. There are a couple of official authors already doing it. I'm doing it too. You guys should really check this out! You can go here to see the thread. This has been JacobCahoon FRHD News Journalist and Interviewer. Top Poster Of The Month If you look on JacobCahoon's profile (or just anywhere he has posted), you can see that there is a banner that says, "Top Poster Of Month". If you were wondering what this was then keep reading. The devs passed an update that made a leader board that counts how many posts you've made. The person who posts the most in a month gets that banner by their profile. I personally don't know where this is going to go. It may make people spam just to get the award. We'll see in the future if this feature is going to stay. This has also been JacobCahoon FRHD News Journalist and Interviewer. We have been slacking recently for the interviews, but no more! Today JacobCahoon interview Maple ! JacobCahoon: What made you choose the username "Maple"? Maple: Well I like one word usernames and since I'm from CA we have a maple leaf on our flag. That is pretty much where I got my username. J: How long have you been playing FRHD based games? M: I played CR casually for maybe a year. I never really got to involved into it. FRHD might be a around a year or so. So lets say 2 years Looking back I wish I considered checking out CRs forum. I think I might have made a forum account for CR but I never went on and in the end I forgot the account password. J: Where did you get inspiration to make your track "Yellow Mountain"? M: So it was over the summer and I was at a lodge and there was no internet so I was pretty bored. Looked around the lodge and found a couple of Chinese classics which I started reading; after leaving the lodge I had gained inspiration for my next track, Yellow Mountain. J: How long did it take to make "Yellow Mountain"? M: A good bit of time, maybe over 3 weeks? It was made during the summer so I had lots of spare time but I was pretty slow. Now I could make a track like Yellow Mountain in way less time if I didn't have anything to do I could finish in little under a week or so. J: Are you a self-taught artist? M: Yep, I was never really good at drawing but I just really liked to draw. When I was younger I would doodle all day in class and if you were to see my workbooks they'd be filled with random sketches and what not. Of course there was art class in school but I never learned anything out of it, all that was done was projects never really learning techniques. When I was in elementary I took an art class but I didn't really like the older kids there. In this art class the art teacher rewarded you with this balloon (lame prize but I was small so it was cool) if he thought your sketch of this cup was good. One day I received a balloon only to have one of the older kids pop it, I was pretty upset and ended up never going back to the class after, I hadn't even gone through a week before I left. Dumb reason to leave but I was a dumb little kid. J: How long did it take for you to get so good at making tracks? M: I don't know when I turned "good", I'd say I've been playing for about 2 years so I'd say it took me 2 years to get good. J: Do you have any tracks coming out soon? M: Have a box contest track which I sorta started and I'm not sure if I'll finish by deadline or even submit just cause I'm busy and since I kinda want to expand the track. I'd say if anything maybe expect something during December. J:How long did it take to make "Witchmist"? M: I'm not sure. Whatever the date was when I first posted in the Spooky campaign tracks I was already working on it. J: What is your favorite track that you have not made? M: Ok I'm gonna just self-promote here but....go to my gallery and scroll down to the first spoiler and that is a picture of the track. Either that or this track I wanted to do about a heavily detailed forest with unicorns and ****. J: What is your favorite track that you have made? M: Spirit of Adventure back in CR cause it was the first track which I finished where I really wanted to do something epic (even though it's not really epic it's my attempt that counts.) Was the question about track that you have not made not meant to be about tracks from other people? I really liked the interview and the rest. Good work guys !
No, it's Lasagne. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lasagne Lasagna is singular, no one has a singular Lasagne.
