I was training hard for three years but being too busy with work killed it. I also have bad joints and may have to get knee surgery :/ went from 165lbs to nearly 200, I was pretty fit but I'm back down to around 170 range right now.

thats a great transformation man. Make sure to warm up properly and not train with too heavy weights and give yourself more time to recover

I have been wanting to get even more upper body muscle and core muscle. Although right now one of the 2 heads that attacg tge bicep to the shoulder has fallen off. So half my bicep is working basically. I'll possibly need to get that surgically put back there since it isn't staying when physios put it back. After that is fixed then yeah for sure

E: I used to do karate, swimming, and gymnastics. Now I just stick to bball and tennis. I did go do weights for a few weeks and that's when I found out about my bicep.
I also did around 100 squats a day and added 5 every day

A physiotherapist cant physically attach your muscle back to your tendon. That can only be done by surgery (or healing if its a mild tare, which a physio can help with). He/she can only guide you in increasing strength/stability in your functioning head and rotator cuff muscles inside the shoulder to balance out the loss of function if it’s completely «off». I believe you though, should probably have that surgically put back on before too much of irreplacable muscle tissue is replaced w scar tissue.

Ahh, so they're not even fixing it and they're just robbing me of cash lol rip. Most of it is covered through my health fund tho. She was lifting up my shoulder muscle then pushing it back up. It was super painful lol she said it has been a problem for over a year.
Thanks tho, I'll look into some surgical options or take a visit to the doc. Literally you have been the most helpful person haha thank you

It can happen from repetitive movements in sports. I think it may have been from either karate or tennis

I lift every now and again... but as the summer comes I throw my wetsuit on and go surfing for hours at a time, it is extremely difficult in big waves to get out there sometimes... It cleanses the mind and soul, it also is a ton of fun and it really helps relieve stress and anxiety. Super peaceful but the power of the ocean is astonishing. I would recommend it if you live near an ocean. (I'm Blessed to live near the ocean :))

My mother ruptured her achilles tendon while doing tennis when she was around my age.
