Hey everyone,

Since the release of Silent Night I've been working on something big, something a lot bigger than all the other tracks that I've made and I'd like to use this thread to post updates on it as it is going to take a LONG time to ever finish this. I'm motivated to keep working on this track untill it's done. It's about as detailed as my recent 2d tracks but it's going to be about 20 times bigger than those. It's going to be a huge adventure track, one that I've been wanting to make forever with 6 or more different directions you can go. Right now I have between 5 and 40 seconds of gameplay in each direction.

I will be posting screenshots and updates in this thread for the next weeks and most likely months. Stay tuned !

First update:

I decided to upload a couple of early pictures. These parts will most likely be changed, more detailed or maybe even removed. It's not the finished product! It's just a sneak peek at what's to come. These are taken from all over the map to show you that you will travel to completely different area's in this track with the focus on exploration.


This is part of one of the routes that go underground. This tunnel is the home of some furry friends!

Yeah this is the biggest problem I have right now. If the dev's added teleporters before I finish this I could make it so that you have to complete every route to complete the track (pls devs pls add) but if not then I'm most likely going to put a star at the end of the longest route, but I'm not sure about that. I want to encourage exploration and adding a star at the end of a route would have most people focus on just that route while I want people to explore the entire track.

 

Damn, this is the most fun I've had creating a track in a really long time. I have a huge amount of motivation and this thing is getting bigger and bigger. I'm getting close to 2 minutes of track spread over all the routes right now and most of it is detailed. The track is going to be a huge kingdom with multiple castles that you have to visit. The idea is that you have to visit the castles and ruins where kings of the past ruled the land from to search for their bodies. If you visit all the tombs you will be able to become the next king. That's the story I have for the track right now. It's going to be awesome.
