They gave me nightmares tho. I was looking back through some of the episodes recently, and I have to admit that the real-life editing in the show is garbage, but as a child, I thought it was real. That "problem blob" wouldn't look out of place in some horror movie, and that bloody numbertaker looks like a serial sex offender. The puzzler didn't scare me much back then, but looking back on it now, all I can think of is "What sort of theme tune is this??"

Yeah, but the main problem with the numbertaker was nobody talked to him, he just turned up on a whim and started doing things. As far as I can remember he was always completely silent himself while on camera. Never said a thing, and that added to the creepiness.

 

our neighbours kid used to scream in the night cos of the roly mo show. I presume this is cos he was scared of it.

 

ahhh, I remember the roly-mos. They weren't all that bad, actually. Which part was the kid scared, d'y'know?

When going back to college a person in a truck would speed up every time we tried to pass her. They were in the right lane I was in the left. I backed off and a different car maneuvered in and then passed them and they did not care. Once I got back up to speed they continued. My brother in the passengers' seat made the mistake of waving to them. Which was apparently enough to make them mad. They get into the left lane behind me, so I get into the right. They followed. I go back to the left and so did they. It made very uncomfortable especially since they were very close behind me doing 80. So I speed up going 90 and they were going faster too. I had to get over 100 before they bailed and got off the expressway. I need some rear and front cameras in my car, people are ridiculous.
