    4/15/18 Tip of the day
This tip is still a drawing tip but it's less about using the software and more about designing and drawing a track.
When ever I start a track I usually think of what will be the best thumbnail first, although sometimes this is not as important but I still like to think about it, a great example of one of my best thumbnails is the one on my midnight parkour track, incase you haven't seen it, it has a small plane with a lit up building in the background and a dark sky and stars, it really shows what is in the track and the style and amount of detail put in to it, an example of a bad thumbnail would be one with horrible detail at the actual thumbnail and decent detail throughout the track, because nobody would look at the track because the small portion that they can already see doesn't make them want to see more, that is also true in the opposite way, if someone makes great detail in only the thumbnail and the rest of thier track is laughably bad it makes people mad you got thier hopes up for a good track and then disappointed them and they end up disliking it, also one of my worst thumbnails is the one on my return to paklai track the small snowman with laughable background realy doesn't show you what's in store for you later in the track.

    3/30 tip of the day
Today's tip is one I've seen nowhere else before on frhd so I assume I came up with it but if some one else is already doing it than, \_:)_/ oh well
this tip is for when you are trying to somewhat copy an image,
    first pic you r image,
    [IMG]
Than using this site (you can use any site but I find this one to be the best) http://www.griddrawingtool.com/ you add a grid to your image,
[IMG] I suggest black lines, one pixel, and 15 boxes wide
    [IMG]
now that you have a grid on your image you need to draw a grid on your track, if you are drawing it in the background then you need to make black lines so you can come back later with the grey lines off on your eraser and erase the grid only, and the other way around for the mid-ground drawing,[IMG]
also make sure to align the grid with where you want the bike to end up if this will be your thumbnail,
now you can copy the image box by box, sorta one pixel at a time and that will make the drawing process way easier and the end result quite a bit better.
Technically you aren't using the grid to draw your image

    3/27/18 Tip of the day
Today's tip is for when you need to be able to zoom in more than you can on just the editor.
let's say for example when you are trying to fill in a small area with a solid shade you just need more precision.
so here a way to zoom the entire computer screen.
    For Windows:
Press the Windows logo key‌+(+) too zoom in and the (-) key to zoom out
    For Mac's
Hold down ⌘ Command, then press (+) to zoom in and (-) to zoom out

    3/24/18 Tip of the day
today's tip is sort of a steal from apple.com simply because I've never had an apple so I wouldn't know
How to take a screenshot on your Mac
You can capture your entire screen or just a selected portion of it. The screenshot is automatically saved to your desktop.
How to take a screenshot of your entire screen

    1. Press Shift-Command (⌘)-3.
    2. Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop.
How to take a screenshot of a selected portion of your screen
    1. Press Shift-Command-4. The pointer changes to a crosshair.
    2. Move the crosshair to where you want to start the screenshot, then drag to select an area.
While dragging, you can hold Shift, Option, or Space bar to change the way the selection moves.
      screen_capture (1).png
    3. When you've selected the area you want, release your mouse or trackpad button. To cancel, press the Esc (Escape) key before you release the button.
    4. Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop.
How to take a screenshot of a window
    1. Press Shift-Command-4. The pointer changes to a crosshair.
    2. Press the Space bar. The pointer changes to a camera.
    3. Move the camera over a window to highlight it.
    4. Click your mouse or trackpad. To cancel, press the Esc (Escape) key before you click.

    3/23/18 tip of the day
This tip is mainly for people who have a computer and mostly use it for frhd,
(I will be demonstrating it with a windows 8)
Changing the mouse pointer for the most precision when drawing,
First find the mouse pointer menu,
(for me)right click on the screen,
    [IMG] Screenshot (349).png
    select personalize,
    [IMG] Screenshot (350).png
    find "Change mouse pointers"
    [IMG] Screenshot (351).png
    then select Pointers,
    [IMG] Screenshot (352).png
now you can find "Normal Select" under "Customize"
select that and then press "Browse..."
now scroll down until you find the one that you think would be best for your needs,
    [IMG]
select that one and click "open"
now you could go through and do the same thing for all of them but by now you probably know how so I wont boar you with that,
Simply select "apply", then "OK" then it is done,
    [IMG]

This tip is for when you need to use the grid but the end doesn't align properly with another line
    Screenshot (346).png
you could always turn off the grid, align the pointer with the previous line then extend the line to where it needs to be but I found a simpler and faster way to align the pointer with the previous line when you are connecting multiple lines and you want to do it faster,
simply leave the grid on and align the pointer one notch behind the end of the line
    Screenshot (347).png
now click, hold and press "G" now you have the start of the line perfectly on the previous line as well as a perfect guide for getting the line straight Screenshot (348).png

Another suggestion for a straight line is pressing 'Ctrl' while drawing a line until is says '90.00' degrees.

  4. Thanks Tall texan! Also you may be able to change the grid size to something like 5 or 2 and you could connect that line... That's what I do

yup but if you had the previous line on #5 you could connect it with #2 half the time \_:)_/

  6. Lol I typically use 10 or 20 so going down to 5 makes it look real small
