    I wouldn’t say I build things out of wood, but I’m experienced at sanding and staining shelves, tables, etc. if I can find a pic of the ladder I recently stained, I’ll post it here.

    it's a bevel-up block plane, mostly used for planing end grain.
    But I use it for everything i'd use a regular plane for just because I don't like bevel down planes too much

    so your sort of a re-finisher so to speak?
    I have a desk that I was planing on re-finishing you know sanding, then sanding some more, but then I'd have to sand it, and of course i'd have to sand it after that, then some sanding, and more sanding and then I gave up!
    I hate sanding that's one reason I like this plane I'll show Y'all some pic's of the shavings I get out of it just in case Y'all aren't familiar with them but what they do is they take shavings off the wood instead of dust so a couple of passes with a plane and you've accomplished what you would have take an hour to accomplish sanding, with almost the same finish.:) happy days!

    Wow, you guys are so good. All I do in terms of woodwork is assemble IKEA furniture occasionally : (
