FRHD News Forum Subsection!!! On october 3rd, The FRHD News decided to ask Char if we could have our own forum subsection. He then said "Yeah I like the idea. We can probably do this". Then time went by. On October 17th Char got back to us with this post: There were some difficulties. At first, I was unable to post on the subsection. Once that was fixed, many users complained that giving me moderator status was not fair. So char removed that status, and made a new status saying: "FRHD News Team" (where it would otherwise say "Member"). Since the creation of the subsection, there has been a tremendous rise in views/interaction of the FRHD News. This has been FREEZ FRHD News team content-editor/Journalist. New Campaign Themes Eric announced that 2 new campaign themes will be added to the campaigns. The first is the Spooky theme. They hope to get tracks submitted to this by before Halloween so they can release it for that holiday. Doing this could attract a lot of attention to the game, and if you're too old for trick-or-treating then you can have a blast while playing these tracks! So track authors, hurry and make your spooky Halloween track, but make don't rush it! The second is the City theme. This theme was clearly needed because these types of tracks didn't fit into the other categories, and ever since the release of The City, these City themed tracks have gotten popular. There have been several submissions to this theme so far. Also, Char and Eric said that they are picking campaigns and might add some tracks on Friday, but not for certain. All in all, we should see campaign tracks really soon, and we should be excited for the all the Spooky and City tracks coming! This has been JacobCahoon FRHD News team content-editor/Journalist. FRHD News awards: Track Maker of the day: Goes to LucJohnson for his Gravity Mania: The Finale track. This is the last track in the Gravity Mania series, and probably the best addition to it. The strange thing is that it has not received nearly as much recognition as previous tracks in this series. Top 5 trending tracks: Today the trending has a totally different arrangement from the last issue. #5 is Snowy TM Trail by Aspirit . Snow is a hard thing to detail, and in this track Aspirit masters the art of drawing snow in FRHD. Its pretty fun too. #4 is The Daily Grind by ShelbyLowry . The name of this track might make it sound like an auto or hold up, but its not. In this 3D detailed track the "biker" uses rails to get to all sorts of places. #3 is Through the Graveyard by codrey . This Halloween track uses lots of gravity boosters to make all the jumps have a smooth landing. #2 is Hold up series 1 by Moosefeather . This track is a very smooth hold up where the rider does some pretty smooth wheelies and endos. And #1 is.. America by TiMartin1069. This track explores famous landmarks of the USA. It is very fun to ride and has some awesome detail! It also got him the "Official Author" status! Check it out! Why did these ghosts make it in when Sono is in 8th place and Totoca12 is in 5th on its leaderboard? Other than that, nice article.
Sometimes we go for style and speed. Also there may not have been better submissions. I don't know. I didn't pick them.
Because no one else subbmited ghosts. Its not about placement, but if they even got subbmitted and style
If they are slow, but are really cool and do something awesome, then they may be picked. If they are super fast and way ahead of everyone else, the may be picked. It's generally up to whoever is judging them, which would be me from now on. And to be fair, some of those ghosts were submitted when they WERE in first, but then someone beat them. However, FREEZ is right: if one does not enter their ghost, they will not be featured.
My only point is that there were better ghosts, submitted or not, so I question why those two ghosts are in the "best ghosts" section when they aren't even the best ghosts on the track. e; I'm not saying they are bad though.
Well if you ever needed an extra set of hands on the news team I wouldnt mine helping out here and there. Willing to PM my 'Credentials' if required
