It has indeed been a while, and I'm sure I'm not the only old player who logs in every so often. Heyo!
Is anyone that I know still around? Surely Shep has to be, and some others. =D
By now, I'm 17 and have been in college for a month and a bit. I'm really enjoying myself. Been with my ever so sweet girlfriend for about 10 months now, and made some crazy friends. Honestly, I couldn't be happier. =)
I'm having a look at the game in general, and oh boy, have things changed in such a short span of time. I see that the game finally released the mobile app, and it's amazing that there's over 1 million installs. It reminds me of the time where Free Rider 2 was in its prime, and had spread across a large amount of the internet.
On the contrary, looking at the game, I see a lot of the design has had a large overhaul. While it does look nice, in my opinion it looks rather cheesy and has a cartoon vibe. This gives the interpretation that the developers are focusing on a younger audience. I find this appropriate, sales and all, but there's a much larger audience of older players than one might think, at least from older days of Free Rider.
I wanna hear your input! For the new players and those of old, let's see what you think of the game right now, and how the community is going.

 

Welcome back! While there has been a mobile release and a change of design, not much has been changed about the actual gameplay in a very long time. There are still new hats for holidays, but thats about the only new thing we get. People have been leaving because of this lack of change, and Char needs to do something about it.
Since people are leaving, the quality of tracks has gone down.There are a lot less features per month than there has ever been, and that's not making frhd any better. The game desperately needs an update, but it needs Char is worried about other things besides gameplay.
I wish I could say more, but there isn't much to say.

all that's happened around here for the most part is the building up of the mobile side of the site and the lessening of the side that uses the forums. a lot of the people pushing the game's art forward have either gotten busy with life or just quit the game entirely. kinda sucks but whatevs. good to see that you're doing well though

 

That's honestly a shame. I know there's been things planned for the shop and the like, but it's sad to see none of it has come to light.

Yeah, that's understandable, and I've joined the list of people who have faded away.

Well, I entered the game like 10 months ago, and I think the game is good, it's addictive, it has its touch, it's well decorated and designed, it's had great updates, Free Rider for me is getting better, the staff is putting things in new, they are putting new options, and that attracts and motivates more to the community, every time there are more players, and people with very good detail, people who however are devastating their levels, and then very good people, this community of Free Rider is amazing and I'm glad to have known this game.
