i've only had like one or two tracks with actual clouds in it because I CANT DRAW CLOUDS. it either looks too cartoony or not even close to what a cloud looks like. I need pro tips and tricks on ways 2 draw clouds because i've given up on doing it myself about 7 years ago
i recommend using a drawing pad or sketch then transferring it over to frhd it helps a lot with detail i have recently used it for a project and it worked well ask charlezard or mudkip for what they use because i dont know what its called but it good
stuff to avoid if youre going for general, everyday clouds *denser clouds could work for overcast *linear clouds could work for weather fronts if you wanna take a closer look i attached the text file edit: did you censor 'heck' i spelled 'height' wrong whoops
so mudkip how do you draw characters because im binge watching gravity falls and i wanna do something from that show
It depends on what you're going for. If you are doing something complex [Real Life Looking] then do what mudkip did. If you want something more simple then I would use the black line and make a thick outline and then use the scenery line to partially shade.
extremely simple cartoon stratus cloud alternative spam the curve tool like this until you get this then use curve tool again to double line and add random spots where the cloud should have depth voila quicky cloud will add a more complex cloud maybe
here is another moronically simple way to draw a cloud i will just call it the "brush top" basically you just scribble bubbles on top of a curved line, but for informative purposes i would use the curve tool as i did, then you just double line the bottom
thank you to all that replied but all those styles don't really fit into my track, i still don't find those styles super realistic, although they are cool
this is how i do clouds super brushy the trick is make clusters of clouds with multiple layers and different patterns
