I have $30 to spend on a keyboard, and was just wondering what a good choice may be. I would use it primarily for typing, but would also want it to be good for ghosting. I was wondering if getting a mechanical keyboard would be better, but wanted to see what you guys think. As of right now, I use some $5 HP office keyboard piece of trash. I can't even click the down arrow key and the spacebar at the same time. Thanks in advance, Glen P.S. don't give a suggestion unless the keyboard is under $30 and you think it is REALLY good. thanks

Logitech K120 - Very durable & cheap. E: Also then you don't look like a little autistic kid with a gaming keyboard.
What you are looking for is a keyboard with higher key rollover. Key rollover is how many keys you can press down on the keys you press stop registering. For example, a keyboard with 3 key rollover would allow you to press down 3 keys before the keys stop registering. If you pressed up, left, and z at the same time and then tried to pause, you would make all of those movements but not pause as that would be a 4th key. Many high tier gaming keyboards have what is known as n key rollover, meaning you can press down every key on the keyboard and they will all register. For ghosting, I would think that anything higher than 4 or 5 key rollover is unnecessary unless you need it for something else. If you are looking at mechanical keyboards, do some research into key switches to find which ones you like. Most mechanical keyboards are more expensive than 30$ though so you may need to raise your budget a bit if that's what you want.
that was very informative! Thanks! I am thinking of getting this: https://www.amazon.com/Velocifire-M...d=1501896105&sr=8-1&keywords=velocifire+tkl78
Mine only does 3 keys and it's a problem for ghosting, I recommend getting one that does at least 4 keys
Razer Deathstalker Chroma. It's not a mechanical keyboard though. I prefer chiclet keys, and this is the only decent gaming board on the market with chiclet keys. You can get it for like $80
dude 80 dollars?!?!?!?!? Well I could afford it but it's expensive... also I want mechanical Thanks though!
Lol yeah. Its a nice keyboard though. Fully customizable rgb lighting with effects like rainbow waves or shimmering. Good size. I love it. Its also got a similar feedback to a mechanical board just without the noise of mechanical. Don't spend the 80 though if you're content with something for 30
