Sami’s comments/reasoning: The detail was actually polished but we had to take out points because toward the end of the track you just gave up on it completely. Also, why’s the water level above half of the track???
The ride was smooth, with a nice flow and all, but when it got to the buildingy area it just got bad and rushed in my opinion.
Not really original, but it’s not copied from anyone either. It’s your own style so kudos for that, I guess.

Tom’s comments/reasoning: The neatest entry to the entire contest. Serious ups for connecting every little line. The precision can really be noted in things like the shading on the pillar on the first building. Incredibly impressive. The ride is really good but very linear in the layout. There is an emptiness to be noted, especially in the sky and the backdrop, and I don’t feel like the track is large enough to really allow for that to be excusable as just a time issue. There was two months to at least put a cloud line or horizon in. Originality wise, it’s not much different than your usual work, and nothing really stands out to me. There’s nothing really creative going on in the track and it’s kinda lacking because of it. I’d have liked to see you do something more with it. The architecture is uninteresting and makes no sense, both aesthetically and realistically. I don’t get what’s going on with the windowless box on top of the second complex and don’t like see how it would benefit the composition of the building at all. The roof and window on the first building don’t do much to complement it either, which bothers me because I can tell that the buildings weren’t supposed to be unpleasing to the eye. Otherwise they’re really well done though and add a nice element to the track.

Sami’s comments/reasoning: Amitabh’s style in the track is cool, like the name cool contest suggests it should be. Also, his ride is smooth, no curve tool whatsoever.
Big minus for not following the one and only rule in the entire contest and writing “cool contest” on your damn track.

Tom’s comments/reasoning: Great short ride, not glitchy in the slightest. Good challenge for all players. The detail was impressive, original, and had a giant wadurmelawn. Extremely consistent detail, and precise lines throughout. All lines were connected. Was missing the words ‘cool contest,’ and was not very lengthy, but was one of the most original styles we saw and was very fun to play. The originality displayed in developing your own distinct style was impressive as many other entries looked very much the same. The tunnels are a great length and the ride up the three rectangles actually proved to be a well-planned challenge, which was really neat.

Sami’s comments/reasoning: The track’s overall style stays the same throughout the entire thing, which seems to be a rare occurrence in this contest. For some reason, I don’t know. So kudos to you for that. The route the ride takes is clever with some cool obstacles but unfortunately, some of it was somewhat poorly decapitated.

Tom’s comments/reasoning: Wow. I can’t believe this one went by fairly unnoticed. It’s massive! Which is one of the only things that I asked for. It meets all criteria and blows away the competition in terms of size. The ride was original, although poorly executed in some places. Overall though, the ride is fairly intuitive and fun. There are some sloppy parts here and there but it’s excusable for a track of this size and from such a new author. The detail is completely finished throughout and does not differ much throughout the track, making for a nice consistency. I’m overall very impressed by this track despite its flaws.

Sami’s comments/reasoning: weeds
I like the idea of floating islands, especially when you do something with it. Like you did. Instead of just having the islands, you put things on them, like a cave, a castle, a waterfall and even a volcano. You also made a flying pirate ship, which is something I haven’t seen done. Good job.
Now if only you could draw better, you would’ve probably won this.

Tom’s comments/reasoning: i like the guy gettin mf executed lol. Okay for real tho, this is pretty neat. Originality-wise, it’s one of the best we’ve got. The detail isn’t original at all, infact it’s kinda boring, but the concept you were going for here is pretty damn good. I like the way you worked with the idea of the floating islands to make them have unique characteristics. The ride was difficult but intentionally so, and that made it pretty fun to play around on in my opinion.

Sami’s comments/reasoning: The detail was unfinished, emptier than my soul, extremely inconsistent (as in you don’t follow one or two styles, but instead skip across several styles even on the rocks in the beginning), unoriginal and didn’t even have connected outlines. Also, a cliché, but almost all of it was copied… from Shep. In his own fcking contest, lol.
Like really? Did you think nobody would notice the dozens of similarities between this track and several of his previous ones, especially when he’s the damn judge here?
The track’s ride was fckn horrible, maybe even AIDS. Very little lines used, often not even connected to each other, making it bumpy as anaI beads. The route was pretty good, though, as it gave the rider choice on which path to take instead of forcing a way or another. Even the boost at the beginning doesn’t work properly, which just goes to show that you didn’t even try to test this track.
Helicopter can fck right off but the trees are cool.

Tom’s comments/reasoning: The layout is good and the architecture is stylish and makes sense. The detail is incredibly sloppy and the second half is unfinished, and next to no lines are connected in the detail or in the track, which lead to a bumpy and glitchy ride, though it was laid out very well. MTB would have fit the ride style better. The detail is unoriginal and aspects from many artists styles are visible (i.e. wheeliemaker mushrooms, a lolz style rock, naughtt style caves,) which really kills the originality, and within the rocks themselves over 7 distinct variations of detail are noticeable for no reason that doesn’t help the variety. The trees are fckin bomb though for real my man you should stick to more of those, I’d like to see a track from you with tons of trees since they’re your strong point and really original. Also do u even write boi you gotta get up more, that throwie needs some help

The track isn’t original at all, it’s a generic itzchucknorris type ride with a picture behind it.
Ride is smooth and all but it’s boring, hence the low score there.

Tom’s comments/reasoning: I wish it would’ve been finished. Detail is amateur but consistent and kinda nice. Ride is smooth and pretty fun but not really challenging. Nice man floating into the fckin sun tbh its a nice touch

Sami’s comments/reasoning: First off, the ride is boring. It’s just a hold up where you rarely lean anywhere and/or press Z. Until it gets even worse and you faceplant because you hit some glitchy rocks on the way. And then come the boosts that guide your way instead of you even trying to make the ride go the way you want it to. I’d rather call the ride challenged than challenging, it’s painful on so many levels beyond imagination.
Sloppy detail, too, but at least you hold the same style on the whole piece.

Tom’s comments/reasoning: I don’t exactly understand what’s going on here. What’s the theme? There’s an igloo chilling at the bottom of a cave, some random bricks in the walls, a house on a cliff, and some random pixelated hot air balloons being hit by a fckin asteroid. I don’t understand what theme you were going for with this, but it’s definitely not one I’m familiar with. I tried googling it, but I found no results for such an idea. That aside, I like what you’ve done with the layout of the ride and the placement of the goals. The ride is unnecessarily difficult and glitchy for no reason in some parts (i.e. when you hit a rock and go flying into fckin space.) I like what you did with the font of your cool contest writing and applaud you for staying consistent with your detail.

Tom’s comments/reasoning: The ride was bland and the jumps didn’t line up. It’s really empty and there’s no incentive to really ride it, though it is long. The concept didn’t blow me out of the park, I’ve seen it hundreds of times.

Sami’s comments/reasoning: First off, you didn’t connect any of the already too few lines that you used for the garbage ride. And even where the lines are connected, it’s because you used a brush way too small for making a ride, and hence it becomes glitchy and overall shtty to ride.
The letters you draw with the grid are always uneven and don’t make sense whatsoever. The mountains, that you somehow can see behind a cave wall, should follow a horizon line and so be visible from anywhere on the track the track on that height.
And yes, what an original idea. Let’s make a fcking cave with loops in it like nobody’s done or seen it before.

Tom’s comments/reasoning: Okay boy tf. How there be mountains inside a cave. Even if it’s a cave window, idk why they just disappear behind the pillars. BOY. Where they fcking go my niqwa? The whole ride is brushed and no lines are connected. I honestly wanted to give up riding multiple times. The sad part is I’m tryna take this rating seriously rn but I’m really just not even able to mf be fake rn and tell you that you did a good job because I’m honestly disturbed by this track. I’ve seen tracks like this hundreds of times in my years playing free rider and I can honestly say you’ve won the award for doing it the worst. Some retard literally broke all of the rules and still managed to get three more points than you. The foock niqwa? Get out.
