I know it is not me who thinks this but I think that the new Admins are way too lax at making people OA. I remember when I started playing 3 years ago, only like a handful of great authors + featured authors got OA Status. Everyone seriously can just have it as long as they ask for it.

When I mean seriously, this is what I mean:
Warning: This totally pissed me off
What happened when I told someone that they needed at least 3 popular tracks so you can get OA Status
      upload_2017-5-18_21-45-8.png

Please make it clear to most people that the OA Status is hard to get and should not be treated lightly. This is not my only example.
There are many OA out there with less than 30 Subs.

Sparkle right now is just giving OA for free. Please let her know that OA Status should not be treated like trash.

I once saw a kid with just one track; a trash one at that; and he had OA. I told sparklemotion bout it and she said 'nothing I can do, sorry.'
And then me and the kid got in an argument over whether he deserved it or not and his reason for him deserving it was 'I've played for over a month.' lol

I think it all ends up to this, whether the admins want freerider to be like a real life simulation where actions determines rewards or a school simulation where everyone gets satisfied.
I wish they chose a real life sim so only people that makes good track will become OA rather just ask for it

I believe they should have a special team for this; like how they have a team for featuring tracks. It would help a LOT.

There's really nothing that can be done about this right now, other than implementing a whole new tier of authors, which i don't believe is high on the admins'/devs' list of priorities at the moment. Also, asking for OA and receiving it has been a thing for a handful of months now, and has already been addressed by several people.

From what you're saying, it looks like you think that OA should be based on stats; this is just an assumption, and i'm probably wrong in thinking that this is your opinion.

In my opinion, OA should be determined in a similar way the old Featured Track Mods determined featured tracks: a majority-group decision.

yeah, and they also should have more tighter regulations on how well they have to make tracks.
i bet u rn they are just scared that if they don't give it to some people, they will quit. but i think more people will quit if they make more crappy authors OA

The rules for are too lax OA, if there even is any. I don't think noobs will quit if they don't get it 1st time, I didn't. I agree there should be a team that decides OA, and they need to create clear rules on what they think is worthy of OA, and take their job very seriously (not saying anyone doesn't take their job very seriously;its probably a very hard job 4 Sparklemotion).

      too true, sadly.

I wish OA would be taken seriously, when i first started, getting an OA was rare and special. Having a OA means you are a good and honorable part of the game. Right now, OA is what happens when you ask for it.

SparkleMotion I agree with DeathBob1. Even if it means I would lose it, I want it to be how it used to be

They should be a lot more ranks. Thats why games like clash royale r fun, and a whole lot of games have leveling up, so why not?????

It shouldn't be based on stats, because you could have really good tracks and still have crappy ratings (*cough* *cough* bots), but they should at least look at the track quality before giving it out. I saw this one guy that literally just scribbled lines and called them tracks, and he had OA.

Hey y'all! I definitely understand where you're coming from, but at this point changing the way OA works would mean having to take it away from players, not just one or two, but based on the standards you have discussed it would be the majority of OAs. Not only does that create a ton more work for us, make a lot of people frustrated and upset, but would probably also result in technical glitches as OAs can make 500 tracks, and those without it can only make 200.

We are looking at different options for the future; maybe a different title, an automated system, or scrap it all together and have players level up instead. We want to make it more fun and engaging for all of you but aren't exactly sure how we're going to do that. We love that you're an engaged and committed community, so please stay patient just a while longer! :)

Ok but that's just you. If it comes to other people that are more serious about this OA ****, then they would complain and whine about why they got it taken away. Don't know why they would care because it doesn't mean anything anymore when it used to 3 years ago.

but all the noobs would complain because it is "important" to them. they dont know that anyone can have it.
