Update: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is my new favorite game, and by far.

I've played just under 20 hours of this game. I have the Wii U version, and I must say first off that this version is totally fine. If the only Switch game you're interested in is BotW and you already have a Wii U, just get this version. I haven't experienced many technical issues, but I don't really pay attention to that stuff.

The exploration in this game is amazing. It truly is an open world, and I actually don't mind get lost OR dying! Yes, dying is actually not very frustrating in this game. I also enjoy finding shrines in the world. So far I've completed 20 (maybe?) and found others that were too hard. There are two types of shrines: Combat and puzzle. I much prefer the puzzle shrines because they are much more complex and they make you feel smart. Once you complete 4 shrines you can go to a goddess statue and get either a heart container or about 25% of a stamina wheel. I would suggest getting two heart containers, then stamina, two heart containers, etc... from shrines. After you complete a dungeon you get a heart container as well, but I wouldn't let that interrupt your order of getting stuff. The game is really hard. I've died a ton in this game, so heart containers are very useful. There are lots of enemies that can one-hit kill you. I also overuse climbing. I climb way too much.

Without going into spoilers, the dungeon that I played was great. It left me stumped quite a few times, and took me a long time. The boss fight took me 3 tries and I wasted most of my food beating it. It had very good puzzles and was unique, so overall the dungeon was great. It had flaws, but still.... And as for flaws, weapons break way too fast, but that's a very minor flaw. I also think there should be more weapon slots, but you can get more by finding Koroks and getting Korok seeds.

I still have three dungeons left to go, and I hope to complete at least 80 shrines, but so far the game is by far the best I played. You need to play it yourself to see what I mean. You'll most likely love it. I still probably have 70-80 hours left, but I can definitely say the game is great. I still haven't been to the northern half of the map (for the most part). I hope to give a better analysis when finished.

e; I passed the game. I only completed 30 shrines and it didn't take as long as expected. After completing it, it's still my favorite game

 

My dad said he'll buy me my own Nintendo Switch with Breath of The Wild.
I'm hyped.

I think buying the Switch would be better than the Wii U due to a few glitches the Wii U has, and you would be special in the Kano Games chain for owning the Switch (lol).

I'd say my favorite meme game is Unturned, just because its full of so many stupid 12 year olds who think they're cool that it's even more fun when you kill them and they get even more cringy.

But in all seriousness, my favorite video game is Halo Reach, but the entire halo series is good. This is because, in making Halo, Bungie was able to weave a story that is so in depth and catching that it has a greater effect on the player than most movies. By the end of Halo Reach, as the members of Noble team have slowly been picked off one by one, I nearly wanted to cry, and at the end of the game, I sat there, staring at the screen for 10 minutes trying to process the game as a whole. It was amazing

 

Now that you mention Unturned, I have to play it.
How is it on 1-5 stars?

 

In terms of graphics and quality of play, it is probably like a 3, but in terms of the community and enjoyment, its a 5

I am slightly proud of the fact that I don't have much to say about video games, because my parents mostly don't let me, and also because there is so many better things to do out there than to sit around inside and play lots of video games. I mean, I have a computer, but no consoles and no other electronics, really. I'm slightly annoyed that all my friends talk about is mostly how far they got in a video game, and that gets on my nerves.

Now I know what you're thinking. This guy is talking about not playing video games while he's on the forum of one. Well, I must admit, video games are stimulating, challenging, and interesting, but I personally think that no one should make it their life. I am not saying any of you are doing that, just that you shouldn't.

Since E12 brought this up, I might as well add to it:

I think The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild does seem like it has good art direction and great graphics. I love the part that it's free-roam and much there is to explore, and everything looks amazing. That is one thing I like about some games. They have great graphics and amazing art, and I find it interesting, because I love art about nature. It does look like a fun game.

Please none of you bully me or spread word that I "have no electronics" and "I suck". I was sharing my opinion. Again, I'm not saying none of you have any lives, I'm just stating that there are lots of better things out do out there. I hope that everyone can find their own special niche in life, and that they make it a part of them, instead of making games their life.
