When you open FRHD...

What is your typical routine once you open FRHD?
me...
- i open the game
- check for notifications
- go to trending and make a few comments
- look for some good tracks to play
- go to the forums
- check for notifications
- go to threads and make a few comments
- get off

 

when i get on i:
1. see garbage on trending
2. leave the page

 

When I open FRHD I:
-reminisce on how much better the game was before kano bought it and exploited it for money by catering it to little children who beg their parents for a membership and spam the database with garbage tracks because for some reason we don't give enough of a damn to crack down on spam and grant them with official author status making it easier for them to fuel the downwards spiral this is decent members not wanting to play anymore and no new good members signing up because the first thing they see is ten tracks on trending that say 'read description' and '800 subs' and 'my mom died' in the title
-attempt to ride one of the less disgusting looking tracks that first appears on the homepage although it almost always tends to be garbage, having trouble riding it because the bike is uncontrollable and the front brake doesnt work, proceeding to recognize how much the quality of tracks has dropped since canvas rider days and most likely downvoting it because it hold no substance and only appeals to the niche set of children who enjoy tracks that circlejerk over votes and subs and copy the same ideas from one another and fight in the comments over abortion and politics even though they are too young to formulate their own opinions on such topics and are only repeating what their parents tell them
-get pissed off at the state of the database and head to the forums to check my watched threads for quality banter, only to find that there is none because everyone good quit and all that's left is the few noobs that will stick around for a few months only to be replaced with a new set of noobs in a short while, liking every single post in a thread and posting terrible work in progress pictures for the seventh damn time because they added a few more lines and they want 'opinions' on their work even though they refuse to take criticism and just want to create the same content because it generates the most internet likes by spamming it on the forum numerous times to get the same three people to like their 'update' on it and also spamming it on the database as a 'wip' to bring in more subscribers with their pitifully enthusiastic description
-take out my gun and and put it to my temple, then remember that i have a future and plenty of interests and people who care about me and bring joy into my life, leading me to put the gun down
-get over all of the negatives in the community for a minute and instead of making tracks like i used to just leave comments on the forum and comments sections to spark conversation and distract from the fact that this community has crumbled to the lowest point in its existence as a user driven flash game as no creativity exists within its bounds anymore and every aspect of the game including the tracks that i pour my personal time into revolve around generating money for people who dont pay me to create content for them and in return dont even listen to my suggestions to save the game we all know and love
And that's what I do when I open FRHD!

 

^ I feel similarly, although I don't know if I'm just perceiving it all too negatively.

Anyways, I open FRHD...
- skim through thumbnails and author names to see if there's anything substantial worth checking out
- reside to past quality tracks and appreciate how cool they are

 

^ Yeah. More often than not I end up being more impressed by past works. I don't know if its because we lost the older member or forgot something along the way. There will always be the few users who never cease to impress, but it seems as though the number of them left is in decline.

I don't know if we go about fixing it or if I'm just not seeing something, somehow the whole thing lost it's luster to me. Maybe it's just nostalgia.

-Check forums see there's any good drama or cool people to talk to (usually not)
-check database, cringe, close the tab asap
-check forums to see if anything has changed in past minute
-go back to doing HW

cant believe I just saw this. can wholeheartedly agree with everything in this post and it will probably continue to be that way.

3. Play some tracks
4.Go to Forums
5.See if I have any Alerts
6. I go look at some Forums
7. I Exit the Forums
8. Play some more tracks
9. Maybe Make a track
10. I exit of FRHD

 

When I open FRHD:
I turn off my iPad as fast as I can before the cringy tracks get to my head. Even the featured tracks aren't that good anymore.

 

When I open FRHD:

Check my notifications
-race ItzTaken
-play tracks from subs
-fail Legendary_Rider's 47854 tracks
-respond to some messages

Play trending and hot tracks
-see some bad tracks and don't even bother to downvote
-see some good tracks and forget to upvote
-see that everyone hates my track that got on hot

Play random tracks
-make puns based off of titles that no one understands
-skip through 52 autos
-find a track that I can't beat

Go on forums
-make puns
-spam
-get depressed because no one liked my puns

Check notifications again
-play all of the tracks that TallTexan wanted me to play even though I already have
-see that everyone beat my times

Make tracks
-spend 5 minutes thinking of what I'm going to do
-spend 20 minutes working on the track
-end up erasing everything and ending up with two lines

My daily accomplishment
-find a really hard trial with 14 stars that only 3 people have beat
-see that the first star is straight ahead of me on the line
-fail to retrieve star
-rage quit
