that's very surprising because it seemed that's where most of the accusations of voter fraud and intimidation came from
Can't believe this actually is happening, can't wait to see Hillary in prison, also super excited that my home state PA is going red And shoutout to those who predicted Trump would win even when he was way down in general election polls. I would have bet all my money Trump would lose
never have i been less happy to be wrong j/k congratulations to trump supporters, it's been a wild ride as the forum's most ardent pro-hillary poster, i can't say i'm not disappointed but the people have made their voices heard. here's to hoping they weren't swindled and trump can accomplish good things for this country political octo out 'til 2020
I'm really scared for my LGBT and POC friends, and even a little for myself. I underestimated the amount of racism and hatred this country contains when provoked. Nonetheless, I will not retreat in the fight for a green America, and one that will not be swayed by an openly xenophobic president and an openly homophobic vice-president. That's just who I am and what I stand for - and just as much as I'm entitled to stand up for what I believe in, all of you are too. We're Americans, not Canadians. This nation needs acceptance and understanding more than ever before, and if all those willing to fight for it leave, we can't do it. I think there's love in all of us and I sincerely believe that if we challenge what's wrong, we will not go in reverse these next four years. it can't be that bad, albeit a bit scary for the minorities at risk here (including my many friends family who fall into these categories, who I hold so dearly) As disappointed as some may be, and as fearful as minorities may be, there's more to the battle and it doesn't necessarily end here. This election does not define what America stands for, nor does it clearly predict the future of the nation. America is incredibly polarized, and I think this night's results display that better than ever. Rather than anticipating a civil war, I like to imagine that we can turn this racism pot into the mekting pot it was originally intended to be. That being said, congratulations on a new world. Let's see where this goes, shall we? I'm fairly excited to see what comes from this, for good or for bad - and I'm willing to stand against the bad.
Trump just claimed the victory moments ago. This is a victory for free speech. It shows there is more than just a spark of life in the democratic process of the USA. I honestly thought that Trump would get cheated out of it much like Sanders. Christians should be happy. Anti-feminists should be happy. Anti-racists should be happy. It's going to be a very fun four years. The ultimate ammunition against the regressive left.
Trump won... Well, I really fear for Americas future right now. I'm shocked trump won and defeated Hilary. As far as the election goes it was a crazy won. The American people have made their voices heard and there is nothing I or anyone else can do about it. Lets just hope that he either gets impeached or surprises us in a good way.
If anyone actually thinks anything is going to happen to minorities because of a Trump win, they've been huffing way too much CNN brand glue. In fact you should be thrilled because now the LGBT people are less likely to deal with Islam, something that ACTUALLY wants to kill you.
