Get some players who play currently to maybe volunteer to do some dev work. It's worked for many communities I've been part of

 

yes, but if they do that those players can look into the de-obfuscated source code and find out vulnerabilities and how to easily hack it

i agree with you, but they would have to have some kind of safeguard thing to prevent that from happening

 

i have a feeling that the number of people who are qualified to do dev work in this community is very low, and the number of people in that group who have the time, energy, and commitment to actually do something are even lower, also what was said above

crowd-sourcing just art assets could be a good idea though

The problematic thing is to let outsiders in to the servers, acp, source code and all that. I don't believe that's something kano would allow
