• Not saying they aren't important, but you put out the fire before fixing the broken window. There is no evidence to suggest that Trump would repeal laws that allow gays to marry, laws that allow women to get an abortion, or any of the other recently controversial issues you could possibly bring up.
  
• By that logic, the only way to vote is Trump - he's the only one with an economic plan that even intends to fight companies leaving and employing in other countries. Hillary's focus is detrimental in regards to creating jobs, as raising the minimum wage has, and we've seen this everywhere it has happened, been causing companies to build mechanical replacements that do not need pay. Who deserves 15 an hour for flipping burgers or sweeping a floor? That's more than anyone besides me as a manager gets paid where I work. And nobody deserves that for menial labor. Our wage in Canada is currently slowly morphing to 15, we will be losing half of our staff due to extreme wage costs and resort to one person per shift. It's a death sentence for non-steady small businesses.
  
• In Canada we're suffering greatly, I don't know if I'm living in a microclimate of unemployment but according to sources I've read in my region, unemployment is at it's highest in the last 20 years. I have nobody to blame for this, you 100% have me beat in the field of economics. I'm trying my best to understand it and argue based on what I see but debates like this help me understand it. Trust me, I would love to be wrong about raising minimum wage, I would love to be wrong about pretty much everything I say about liberal leadership because I want my country to do well. But from what experience I have and knowledge I have in management, it simply isn't ideal for small businesses and big businesses alike to not only have to take in more taxes but be forced to pay their employees more than they're worth. So logically speaking, any company that has to suffer that sort of loss would naturally leave the country in pursuit of cheaper labor costs, and the businesses that don't have that option, like the ones I work at, will suffer or die.
  
• And healthcare is a business, so in my opinion it should be treated as such. Competition for speed, quality, and cost will do no harm. It also weeds out bad apples, they won't bring in dollars if their work is subpar.
• If it was a simple few, and the Muslim demographic as a whole was significantly opposed to extremism or extremist beliefs, I would agree with you. These are the kind of things that should be discussed when we talk about bringing in people from countries that openly oppress women, murder gays, etc. I'm not xenophobic nor do I particularly blame the religion itself for all of it, it's the culture and corruption that I believe causes so much of this and they use the religion as a manipulation tactic. But I'm getting off topic a little here and need to head to work, so thanks for your response and I hope you take a little more time to research what's going on over there and understand exactly who these people are.

 

As I linked in my reply to okto, Sweden has been suffering a rape statistic rise of over 1000%. These attacks aren't rare, they simply aren't usually as large-scale. Most of the crimes being committed are non-violent but are still a nuisance.

I'm not perfectly fine with her getting into office for the record. But I would rather have someone with decades of knowledge under her belt and someone who has actually worked in politics get in office rather than Trump. Hes made his money off of getting a rather large loan from his father, ripping people off, and working with tax loopholes.
1. IIRC her job was forcing her to take on the rape case.
2.I'll have to read up on the Haiti situation, but the Clintons played a major part in helping Haiti after the hurricane and that has been proved.

I wouldn't be so quick to say you can't change my mind. There has been things said that made me question Hilary but it is always cleared up. If you can give me some real proof that shes ruined peoples lives then maybe I'll change my mind?

• I'm not sure why you would vote for trump if you wanted to improve the economy. trump's plans are going to ruin the economy (according to economists), and he himself has outsourced jobs to asia in the past.
• canadian unemployment is actually much lower than it was 20 years ago (source). btw, you're most likely not "suffering greatly" as you're in a first world country.

• Yes I can, because there's nothing about the way he runs his campaign that leads me to believe he intends on changing those laws. This belief you propose is tantamount to believing that his locker room banter will lead to him legalizing rape.

What I meant when I said your statement was ridiculous is that simply voting for someone you deem nicer isn't a smart way to vote. But you're right for the most part on Hillary not discriminating, she kills her adversaries regardless of skin color or sex. I hope Julian Assange doesn't actually get drone striked (why would Hillary joke about killing a dude? seems strange when you've got an unexplained body count surrounding you..) because I rather enjoy wikileaks and their exposing of corruption.
