What job do you want to have in the future?

Theres a lot of creative peeps on FRHD just want to see your aspirations in the future?

 

I'm planning to dual major so I wont be tied to one career for my entire life.

 

What are you majoring in?

 

Graphic design & possibly urban planning. They have another career option called community sustainability but I can't get any information on their program (I want to see what all of the differences are), so i am going to have to request some.

I'm going to be an electrical engineer with a side job of photography

 

We are doing electronics in my Physics classes and I am taking a Digital electronics class where we are doing it as well. I have always understood Gates and flip flops, pretty basic stuff, but we are getting into oscillating clocks and throwing more capacitors into the mix makes stuff way more complicated.

I'll probably end up doing photography as a side job too, it depends on where I am living and if I have the time, but yeah...

 

Is it true math plays a big factor in electrical engineering?

Basic algebra is the biggest part of Electrical engineering, you use some calculus, but there is still a lot of math, just mostly simple math. Aerodynamics and fluid dynamics get much more complicated, and you need both of those to go into aerospace engineering like I want to.
