[FRHD-Lang] Generate complex tracks

Hello, it's KillerMeemStar. I created a programming language callled FRHD-Lang (http://www.dgrissom.com/frhd-lang/). It allows you to create very complex geometric patterns, and more to come.

Currently this program is not practical. The visual editor (see at the bottom) could hopefully change that.

Basic Tutorial
On the website, program in the top text box. Click run, and track code will be generated in the bottom text box. Click "Copy Code" and the track code will be copied, so you can import it into the normal FRHD editor.

• rect(x,y,width,height) function
• pixel(x,y) function (basically 3x3 rectangle centered at the given coordinates)
• line(startX,startY,endX,endY) function
• mode(mode) function. Use mode(0); to edit the physical lines, mode(1); to edit the scenery.
• for("varName",start,end,increment,linesToExecute) function. linesToExecute represents the # of lines after this for loop that should be run each time this loop, loops.
• set("varName", varValue) function. Creates / sets a variable
• text(x,y,characterWidth,characterHeight,kerning,"fontName","text") function. Draws text (only A-Z uppercase and spaces). The only font currently is "MonospaceLines". The kerning is the space between each character.
• object(x,y,"objectType") function. Not very useful, since you can just add these with the normal FRHD editor. Currently the only object type is "goal".
• +, - (not unary negation yet, just subtraction, e.g. so you can't do "-50", you must do "0-50"), *, /, and ^ (exponent) operators

• Visual editor (this will take a while, and may cost like $5 or something )

• Curves
• Randomized generated tracks?

How do we know what code to put into the top box?

 

See the example. The code in the example (here: http://www.dgrissom.com/frhd-lang/tutorials.html) is what you could put in the top box. Each command / function must in separate lines, and end with semicolons. You can see a list of functions in the original post. For example, if you want to draw the default line created when making a new track with the default FRHD editor, use the code:

Since the default line goes from (-40,50) to (40,50) (format (x,y)). Since we can't simply do "-40" (yet), we have to use a subtraction trick to make it what we want.

So is the visual editor a more simple, less confusing editor that normal people can use without using their brains too much?

 

lol It will basically be the normal FRHD editor, but with extra functions (like rectangles, circles, image importing, track importing / addition, etc.). It will also have a code editor, since those crazy patterns can't really be created without the code. (How would it be possible to make those patterns with a graphical editor )

This is pretty complicated and I don't really want to explain it You can paste this into any track code you want.

X variable (set at first line to -400): the x value of the top-left of this spiral.
Y variable (set at first line to 50): the y value of the top-left of this spiral.
s variable (set at first line to 1600): the size of this spiral (width and height). Due to a bug in the program, variable names can only be one letter long.
d variable (set at first line to 4): the level of detail. 1 = lagtastic, 100 = pitiful. The lower it is the more detail there is

Thanks! I already had the website made for a previous programming language I made lol, the actual language took a couple of days (like 10 hours maybe)

I think that's basically how it will be when it starts off, but hopefully people will realize that those kinds of tracks of just showing off a single pattern and then having a short track are frequently downvoted
