I'm thinking of having moderators on this site to maintain this websites quality. We don't want pointless topics and people spamming to many of them. And it will help rid the track copiers and the hackers. I'm not sure if it's to early for this because it seems like Char Eric and Velksy got it under control but maybe sometime later.
Eric told me they plan to eventually. It would free up their time to work more on the site and the game, that alone makes it a good idea.
They are bound to get mods eventually. I guess you can consider the addition of Aardvark and mi7ch a step in that direction, but to be honest I haven't seen them around here at all. I remember the Kano crew asking people to be mods for them on KanoGames.com near the release of FRHD, so I'm assuming they will do the same for this forum.
I've talked to Aardvark, he mostly seems to run the support email as I assume mi7ch does too. I hope they don't ask for mods, they should just keep an eye out for worthy people and give them the status. Asking for people to mod will just attract all of the people who probably shouldn't be mod.
They asked in private over email. I assumed each person was carefully chosen. Ya, it would be pretty dumb to create a thread that goes: "Hey, who wants to be a mod?"
Sorry to be a bit of recluse! mi7ch and I are new to the Free Rider team and still finding my way around, but the plan is to increase our presence as we get settled in. Don't worry, you'll be sick of us soon enough.
Mods are never a bad idea, really, as long as you give the position to someone who knows what they're doing.
search "potal 2d" DO NOT click on "The Flash Version" It tried to follow portal too closely, which made it stink. When you play, if you clicked on the one where your person tries to find a sandwich, thats the right one
