An apology.

So I think it's about time I come out and say this, not only to specific people but to the community as a whole.

I'm a dumb teenager. I have hormones raging through my body. I've got problems at home and I've got problems with my social life. I don't always think before I speak, nor do I always find the self control to keep myself from doing stupid stuff. I just want to apologize to anyone I've hurt. You know who you are and you know who I'm referring to. There's quite a few of you, actually.

I can be a really shitty person at times - and while I don't want to place all the blame on me simply being an angsty annoying teenager, that's certainly a part of it.

I've gone through plenty of phases and I'll go through plenty more. Sometimes I can be a really sweet person and sometimes I let things get to me. I don't always mean what I say, I truly do want to be a good person - but sometimes I lose my cool and say things I shouldn't, or don't think through my responses thouroughly and end up saying some horrible stuff. If I've ever said something stupid or unreasonably brutal to you, please know that I didn't intend to hurt you. I'm not apologizing because I shouldn't have hurt you, I'm apologizing because I did.

I'm not trying to excuse my actions or give you reasons to like me, you're allowed to think whatever you wish. I just want it to be known that I want to be seen as a good person in this community. I want to be not only a major contributor, but a trustworthy and kind member as well. I want to be the kind of person who you feel comfortable around and I want to be the kind of person who seems as though they care, because although it may not always show, I really do care.

I'm sure some of you here can relate to what I'm saying, and I hope those who don't can find it in their hearts to hear me out on this. I'm sorry if I come off as an unfriendly or exclusive member, perhaps even an a-hole at times. I'm an ever-changing person and I hope you can see the good in me, because under my often intimidating façade, I've got some good in me and I want to let it show.

though Thomas has burst out at people a couple of times, I've had my puberty moments too, and I'm right at the midst of it. Give me a few years

While it is nice that Thomas is apologizing, some people who really need to apologize are the people who have called him gay slurs and very horrible and harmful things over the past few months (you guys know who you are) . I don't wanna name anybody specifically to prevent drama, but some people here have been huge jerks to Tom, and they also need to apologize for it.

 

I'm thick skinned, I can handle it.

What I don't think can be overlooked however, is the fact that I've been a huge jerk to some people. I'm sorry about it and I don't want to keep that attitude up.

iTzChuckNorris i deleted your posts. i delete any attempts to fire up under drama. if you dont feel like the apology makes up for whatever, take it in the pms. i usually give out warnings for this.

I really have respect for CityShep, because not only is he a great track maker/author but he has the guts to apologize for something (I'm not quite sure what).

You're a class act, dude. I've always seen eye to eye with you but it's clear you've rubbed some other people the wrong way at some point (either that or they're just being pesky trolls feigning annoyance), but either way few other people would have the balls to admit they've done something wrong like you have. Naw he took it a bit further, but I spoke with him in a PM and we worked it out. It was mostly because he got upset with Stig deleting his posts.

 

Ya but why the fudge did he delete my first post is the question. Like people haven't trolled me on literally every post I make. I am so done with this forum. And we didn't work out anything, there was nothing to work out.
