Too much riders are getting official

This whole debate about official author is still dragging on...damn...guys when will this forum decide to get along it's not that hard

although i think you wont get many rates, my tracks have been getting snubbed lately

Don't know what this thread is now, but based on the first 2 pages, here's my take on the automatic system. I've seen quite a bit of official authors that seem to just spam *ok* tracks, and get 5-20 likes on each. So if there was an automatic system for the official status, you should make it based on the Like / dislike ratio.

Would also like the idea of a star rating system. And a 2nd higher level than official status for people that deserve it.

It would be nice if we had that Elite author status or something

 

There are official authors with great tracks, but get a lot of hate and dislikes from noobs who can't beat the track.

 

Reminds me of my latest track... Theres also those dislike spammers

 

you should raise the bar man, i see you are an official author as well, you need to get better, i dont haver problems with people with 1 track who become official, but you are a freaking 1 liner, you really should raise the bar on your following tracks, i didnt dislike your tracks, but if you consider yourself a classic author or if anyone does, make better tracks, i told myself not to say these words, but you had it coming by replying to this post

 

Probably should have waited until publishing my better tracks to say this, lol. Not disagreeing though, I've been working on improving my tracks; only reason I posted here is because I see authors who don't seem to try and improve

I don't really understand why this thread is still going and wtf the last few pages were even about but what Lerd said actually had some value. Im not sure where or why this is issue came up in the first place since the title official author literally means nothing on this game other than the fact you can post tracks when ever you want without penalty. I personally can't understand what the issue is when official author does not and never will mean you're better than everyone else who isn't. Let you tracks do the talking, not some misguided ego trip.

If we're really intent on having an elite rider title that actually had some worth then you could perhaps discuss that in another thread now that this has turned into pretty much drivel.
