Lol, I one time stayed up all night mining and building a MASSIVE stone tower. (in survival mode, not creative) I had a bunch of chests full of stuff in the tower, and I had a bed to sleep since I used it as sort of like my main place. So I go to sleep one night, wake up the next morning to a creeper that blows out half of my tower's ground floor wall along with all of the chests with the stuff littered everywhere.

Sharing it at MC forum is a good way to gain popularity.... by attracting dumb people. It's huge popularity, also means a huge number of stupid people. I just hope they don't flood the forums.

No, lots of dumb people (imature 8-12 year olds, sorry, but its true.) play MC. Also lots of dump older people play MC (18-35 year olds, who should have moved out of their parents basements by now)

 

Half of the "stupid" community are too stupid to visit the forums.

By community, I meant the people present in the forums. By having huge number of idiots, the actually intelligent ones are driven away, make the stupid people percentage even higher. There are couple of other reasons associated with the migration of smart people, but I do not want to start a debate. MC pretty much relies on the community (or should I say, forums). All the mods, adventure maps, texture/resource packs, they all come from forums (there're probably exceptions). People look for such things to stay entertained (and not get bored to their death, because frankly speaking, MC does get boring after some time, because "Look ma, no goals") It is not uncommon for a Minecraft player to also be a forum user. Being a member of a forum is not a difficult task to fulfill, seeing how they can find games and make purchases, and then search for tutorial videos (and maybe even comment on it like "i liek dis vid! so helfpul/"), I wouldn't be amazed to see them replying to my post in a forum. It exactly isn't the stupidity, it's the ignorance.

 

That post made me feel like I am one of the stupid people... e.e

 

I didn't post anything about classifying a member as dumb or intelligent. Did you thought that going to the forums for mods and stuff means you're dumb? I only meant that forum is a good attraction for the players. Or is it because you "replied to my post"?

 

I mean that I did not understand probs anything lol. That made me FEEL dumb.
