I've been thinking this was an issue for a while but only recently was I able to be sure. Sometimes trying to log into the main site won't work, it'll say your username or password is incorrect when it isn't.
Hmm, do you login with email or username? Wonder if that could have something to do with that if you are not mistyping the password.
Sometimes it says my password is incorrect, but I sign in with my username. This was happening on Chrome, the only way to fix it is to leave the log in pop up and bring it back up. I thought I was actually mistyping until I switched to Opera and downloaded the LastPass extension which automatically enters your information, it was working until eventually the pop up did it again saying something was incorrect.
Windows 8. Though that can't be the cause of the issue as far as I'm aware, we'll have to wait on them to figure out why it's happening.
Seems like this happened to me once a while ago but I just assumed it was a misstype and tried again. Although I do have a very basic password
windows 8 and vista... why... and why did they dump XP... I think that could be the problem. and are you using a mouse or touch-pad-finger-thang
XP was dated, they were paying people to keep up an OS that should of died when Windows 7 came out. And I'm using a mouse. I think it's because of my slow internet connection. Sometimes while loading the login box, it still says "username" while my username is typed in, which looks odd and that's when about 80% of the login fails happen.
I'm not aware of whether or not Vista is still being maintained, but it should probably be dropped too. And I said which browsers in the second post.
saddly, it is. I didnt personally like XP, but it was a crap ton better than vista oops. try going to a friends house (if you even have irl friends ) who has faster internet and try it there. other wise ITS JUST YOU 3r4nd0n!!
I believe Windows 7 was essentially just Vista with a different look, I'm not sure though. And I can't do that, but I can't imagine how it's just me. There must be some reason why it did it with my extension that automatically fills in the information.
vista was beta- windows 7 released as a full version. Under all the pretty looks of vista and 7 they really are different (trust me my 18 and 22 year old brothers who can somtimes fix computers agree with this) hmm
Vista wasn't a beta Windows 7, they spent years working on Vista and it just got a bad rep upon release, so they rushed to get past Vista. The same is expected to happen with the next update to Windows, some say that they're gonna try to rush to get past Windows 8 and just go straight to 9.
1. That still doesnt change the fact that vista was aweful for its time and that XP was great for its time. and which do you think was better, 7 or vista? 2. They made windows update 8.1. And I hope that 9 will be better than 8. 8 stinks for non-touchscreen users unless you have 8.1
1. I didn't say that Vista was great for its time, and I think 7 was better. 2. I love 8, I have a non touchscreen 8.1 and I couldn't ask for a better OS. I hope 9 isn't a step back, by the way they're supposed to be bringing back the start menu for 8.
1. ok. gotcha 2. thats a first time I heard that... hmm... and the start menu is included in update 8.1
I have 8.1, there is no start menu. You can download a 3rd party one in the store but none come included with 8.1. Look on google and you'll find information on the new start menu, it looks pretty good.
