I forgot to answer that. The goal was to hunt for glowsticks which were scattered throughout the forest. If you found a green one, you got 1 point. If you found a blue one, you received 5 points. Whichever person had the most points received a complimentary bag of candy.

 

Well just yesterday I wasn't watching where I was stepping and almost fell into an open sidewalk grate in manhattan

Was too busy looking at Sydney lmao

 

It was 6am and I was on my way home after dropping my friend off in West Hollywood. I was extremely ****** up and jet-lagged as I had just returned to LA from China. Suddenly, I must have blacked out from exhaustion. I woke up and the car was completely smashed into a streetlight, the engine was smoking, the windshield was cracked, and the airbags had deployed. I got out of the car and just stared in utter shock as maybe 30-40 people crowded around from the surrounding neighborhood because they had heard the sound of the crash. An ambulance arrived and I was taken to the emergency room. I was fine except for some throbbing head pain, some scrapes on my knees, and a nasty abrasion on my chest from the seatbelt.

Truly lucky to be alive and for the fact that I didn't kill anyone. The cops told my parents if I had smashed the streetlight a little more to the left the steering wheel would have crushed my ribcage and I would have died nearly immediately. If my friend had been in the car, he would have died: the dashboard was fully pushed into where he would have been sitting.
