Just made a Shakespearean poem in ~20 mins, with the rule being 10 syllables per line and the rhyme scheme ABAB, CDCD, EFEF, GG. Please enjoy
    War of Words (open)

    War of Words

As the first gun’s bark our men start to flee,

But a few brave hearts stand tall amongst fear,

With strength and bravery these men decree,

“Though we may lose, we may well persevere”!

Overrun, overkilled, brave men do lie,

Amid mangled corpses and broken hearts,

For what’s the purpose of these men to die?

When life’s the future fore loaded in carts.

A few do return to a horror scene,

Wondering why it had all come this far,

What is the point of wars against these fiends?

Nothing is gained from wearing battle scars.

If only empathetic humans did live,

Maybe our lives would improve in less sin.

I made this in 20 mins or so:

How ever far one may fly, or the further two loving hearts are apart; means the further their inseparable love will travel, and the more their love for each other will flourish. Love is a test of time, distance and how strong one's connection with another individual is. If two people truly love each other, the spirit between two loving souls can never be broken, even if two those hearts are half way across the ocean. Yes, love can travel, but only dedicated people who truly love one another gain the strength and courage to keep fighting on for what they want, need, and deserve; and they never stop fighting, because they know the end result will be worth more than they will ever imagine.

    A Haiku

    When I saw this thread
It filled me with hope, not dread
    That we're not all dead

  14. Haikus are not meant to rhyme,
they just need to keep rhythm and time
    the five seven five
    keeps the beat alive
    could do more but cba

    They can rhyme,
as long as they keep the time.
    Don't hate,
    you need to congratulate,
    don't let them down
when it comes to rhyme, we all need a crown.
    Don't let them be sad
    It'll drive me mad

Here's a little lesson in trickery
This is going down in history
If you wanna be a villain number one
You have to chase a superhero on the run

Just follow my moves, and sneak around
Be careful not to make a sound
    Shh
    No, don't touch that!

    We're number one
    Hey!
    We're number one
    Ha ha ha

Now look at this net, that I have found
When I say go, be ready to throw
    Go!
Throw it on him, not me!
    Uh, let's try something else

Now watch and learn, here's the deal
You slip and slide on this banana peel
Ha ha ha, gasp! what are you doing!?

    We're number one
    Hey!
    We're number one
    We're number one

    Awarded Medals
One wife two kids three jobs
    Somewhere your dreams got lost
You set your life off to the side
    Went along for the ride

    But stopping ain't an option
Cause yours is one worth living
So go and chase it down
Before the end can come around

Live it good, live it quick
Cause the end is coming fast
Don't let go of your hopes
They'll be gone before you know
So take your life and live it to the end
Cause broken dreams in death will never mend

*First verse and chorus to a song I am writing, so kind of poetry

    In a distant world,
    there lies a place
    That none dare tell of
    And none dare chase
    A place remote
    That God has smote
So none may know it’s name
    Ere water sets to flame

In the divide between Earth and sky
That is where it’s shadows lie
Where many men will fight and die
But none may know it’s name
    ‘Till Heaven burns aflame
    And the world is maimed,
    And the prophets proclaim
That light may reach this place unnamed

There once was a master of rhyme
Who made writing verse his pastime
    Octo was his name
    And his claim to fame
Was his limericks - they were sublime.

He checked out the poetry thread
And ended up shaking his head
    "There's no limericks!
    But I have a fix
I'll post some!" The poet then said.

But then he began to get tired
At the effort that this task required
    At first it was fun
    But now he was done
And with that, the great poet retired.

Compared to other games, this game is piss,
I can't believe I've wasted my life on this.
