Iceland has been an inspiration for parts of my tracks but I have yet to make anything purely Iceland based. Others are probably better fit for it but the "West Fjords" region is a gorgeous little area to base a track off of.
Maybe I'll consider trying some realism and make a track with a layout similar to what he rides through in the video.

Sounds good. It seems like a rather easy track to make, no trees to draw to distract you or anything. All you really need to learn is rocks and moss, and no one has really done moss so you can do anything.

Yeah, I'll play around with the idea! I'll post some pics to get opinions on style and whatnot sometime later.

Yes, it uses the same track codes as the frhd editor, and it's mostly the same just without the curve tool. I can't say anything else than that. (Trust me you're not missing much.)

Eh, features are over-hyped honestly. We'll be going for something original and fun, eye pleasing and memorable. If it gets featured then thats an added bonus :p

Ok lets steer clear of a bhr debate and instead talk detail, yeah?
Some questions Ive always wanted answered:
How did you older users find your style and then refine it?
How did you guys get better at detailing something you werent good at drawing, ie rocks, trees
How do you guys feel about collabs? Do you enjoy working with others or do you prefer working alone? Why?

      I color coded my responses:
I actually took lots of inspiration from Rhino, Nightwish, and Nas back in the day, never copying or posting tracks like it though. Studying their work, among other artists, taught me to crosshatch and define shapes better with minimal use of lines. That combined with years of drawing got me to where I'm at. I'm still improving and am utter sh*t in many realms of art, believe it or not.

Motivation and practice. Study artists you admire, don't copy. Use their techniques. Most artists only share their good work, we're not all gods. I draw horrible stuff all the time, btw.

I've grown to enjoy collabs more than I used to. It honestly depends on the partner. IRL I actually hate collaborating, because unless you really love their work you're likely to be annoyed working with them. I like working alone most of the time, but if I'm not inspired it's nice to be given a canvas that's not blank.
