The Elite Authors

I was thinking if we should have elite author status for only the best out of the best authors. They will probably be one or two of them and to get this status you have to be official author, 1+ on Featured, 1+ on Campaign. I don't much people who holds this requirements.

i've only made half a track but i'll gladly accept elite author

 

everyone deserves it i think

 

They should make this every month thing,who gets the most points wins a reward,coins maybe,that would be fun.

I wouldnt say 1 feature for EA, that would mean I am applicable for it and im not even elite lol
Should be earned solely through Official Contest, perhaps through 8 features etc etc

 

yeah i think this comment alone shows how much the name of 'Official Author' has been brought to recently. any person that makes a semi-decent track is given something for no good reason. if we're going to put the time and effort of putting out a title to distinguish good authors from bad, let's actually make it have that use and stop giving it to everyone that thinks they deserve it and give it to people that really care about the tracks they make. if there is going to be something above official author, we better make damn sure that every single person that gets it absolutely through and through deserves it, like what official author was when it was introduced.

 

This is why I chose taking away official over elite because i feel like elite will just be like official over a great amount of time but idk

 

thats why I made elite standards insane. Getting onto campaign is super rare so thats why it won't be like official author.

 

Are you srs, getting 10 tracks into the campaign is easier than getting a feature
To get Elite Author status you will need more than 6 features, and a track in the campaign is irrelevant. All you need to do is make a nooby 15+ second track with light detail to get one in, and fyi I have a feat and a campaign track (which again proves that your 'high' standards are quite insignificant)

Idk if that makes sense to you tho, so take it this way: You will need to be above the level of the Featured Tracks Mods to have the slightest of chance to get Elite Author, so in other words you need to be as good as or better than the likes of Maple and Stig

 

Did you know that there are presently 100 campaign tracks and 150 feature tracks. Making a horrible track will not get into campaign because you know there are a lot of competitors in each section.

 

Did you know that of those 150 featured tracks only 40 have been made whilst FRHD has been running, and that the rest was made in the CR, FR2.db, BHR era?

Making a 1/2 effort easy track can get you into the campaigns, but wont EVER get you a feature

 

what about campaigns?
